Foxtail Orchid Resort Kaziranga

Most pathetic service. Was charged extra for their pickup service and then a rude way of asking for advance for their other pickups and car bookings. No wifi, no room service and when you ask for the bed that you had already paid for, it took then over 4 hours to give that and then they blamed us that we asked for the delay. Then they took an existing pillow from the main bed and threw it on the new bed. Sameer the cabbie was rude when we asked why he is charging different rates for different guests and he said go find one for yourself. The owner was apprised of these issues and he was instead defending his team stating they were frustrated as they were short staffed. Absolutely ridiculous. Also ended up losing money on the can advance that they never provided. Very rude staff, restaurant that forgets your order and then asks again after 45 mins only to tell you that they don't have the ingredients for it (this was a salad and they didn't have cucumber). Funny thing was that when we asked their recommendation for an alternative, he gave an option with (you guessed it) - cucumber.

Resort is just about okay. It is half hour away from the elephant safari point. The entrance isn't clean and welcoming. Property is understaffed. Rooms are clean but have minor maintenance related issues. Restricted food menu. Totally not worth the 8k I paid for the super deluxe room.

Room was spacious, location is little off the road, in the mid of fields. Room was having damp smell. Buffet breakfast and dinner is available but depends upon occupancy.

it was blissful stay .every thing was so good , the environment was ambient, food was good but there is a lot of mosquito and we did not get any mosquito repellent
