The hospitality of the hotel was a major plus point for the hotel.The hotel is located 6-7 KM offside from Leh for that reason we had to hire Taxi to travel around. I could see the mountains and a good scenery from my room view. The ambiance of the hotel was very good and very much peaceful. As a complimentary gift we were given White scarf, though I do not know what is the exact significance of the white scarf here but it felt very good in receiving it. I was given Veg food which tasted quite good, it was healthy and very hygienic. The only problem was with this hotel is that their was no water available in the room. This hotel is also a meditation center and one can experience Buddhism and different sort of yoga and Massage Therapies around the hotel that is why the hotel is located offside the main Leh for it's peaceful ambiance for meditation and all.

The worst hotel in Leh and we have ever stayed. Value of money is absolute zero, room was too poor and food quality was beyond description. The mixed vegetable, served to us at dinner gave off bad smell and breakfast was substandard. The story does not end here. They have no TV in room, though it has been mentioned in amenities list at the time of booking. Connecting your phone with WiFi is really a tough and time consuming project. Above all, its location is more or less 10kms away from Leh, which costs 380 INR by a cab. You can not book a shared cab even not a bike. The situation becomes worst after 8.30pm. In short, our experience was too bad and totally unsatisfied with this guest house and red Bus hotel service.

One of the best places that I have ever stayed away from home. This hotel is located in a quite place a little away from the city. Its really a part of a monastery that has school for boys/girls/blind children and also a old age home in its vicinity. Really a very beautiful and relaxing place. Do not forget to go to the Sun Set point when you are there. Most importantly; the staff is VERY VERY helpful and ever smiling. They will ensure your stay is the most comfortable. Thank you guys for that.

No words to explain the hospitality of Global Family home! everything was more than that one can expect. If you are looking for a peaceful stay at Leh, this is the perfect option with good facilities, food etc., Staff behaviour was very good.. especially Morup (taxi driver) helped us alot and showed places in nubra and pangong with a lot of patience. My friend and I had booked one room with the hotel for 2 days, during our leh ladakh trip. The hotel's facility was very good and up to standard. It was a peaceful environment with very friendly and helpful staff. Food quality was great along along with cleanliness. I would recommend all to stay with the hotel during your Leh Visit

Calm and peaceful place in Leh. The hotel is well maintained with a very good staff. The food served here is good and refreshing..... This should definitely be your place of stay if you are visiting Leh. This is about 7 km from Leh market.

Rooms are OK. WiFi service is also poor. It's a meditation Centre so not recommended for Travellers for night stay who don't want to avail meditation service.
