Grande Vista Tarkarli

Very nice place to STAY, comfortable and peaceful It's a small property Having 8 rooms, 4 on ground floor and 4 on 1st floor, all rooms have AC option, ground floor rooms are garden view and 1st floor rooms are sea view Located right next to beach Though u can't see too much of beach from the room It has a decent compound, where there are few swings and slides for kids Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, with LCD TV It has veg, non-vegetarian kitchen, decent food quality Located around 1km away from MTDC resort Overall a refreshing experience

For those looking for a mid segment hotel, this is fine. But this is not for those used to a 4 star or 5 star property. Guess there are no 4 star or 5 star options in Tarkarli. Room was clean. I got a beach facing room. But in another 8 months, may be there won't be any beach facing rooms since I noticed another hotel being constructed right in front of this property which would obstruct the beach view. The staff are friendly which I guess is the case anywhere in Tarkarli - people are nice.

overall a very nice experience. biggest plus point of the property is the direct private access to the beach. and that beach is not heavily visited so it feels like your own private patch of the beach. the rooms are extremely well kept and clean, and the food is amazing. the slight downside, if i may call it, is that the service is a bit slow due to less staff and the food variety and availability is limited!

The sea-view of the hotel has now been blocked because of a pesky neighbour. To compensate for the absense of sea-view, the hotel upgraded us to an AC room from a non-AC room. The hotel has lovely spacious rooms, a charming private pathway to the beach, a cute play area for kids and the fabulous Tarkarli beach at just 3 mins walk.
