Himachal Heritage Village

A quiet place located around 5 km from main town. Located on a slope of lush green hill, above a small stream of water coming out of Dhauladhar hills.The property has got four different huts,all made artistically in different kind of rural homes found in Himachal. We stayed in Una which is made entirely of mud ,on third day owner Mr Dogra was kind enough to give an upgrade and we shifted to Bharot hut made of wood. The location might be away from town but staff and Mr Dogra will ensure that every requirement of ours were met. We were with a small kid but never felt that any comfort is missing. The best part of the property is their support staff and cook who will ensure that delicious home made food is served at all times. Amit and Desraj came across as thorough professional but with personal touch . I recommend it to all those who are coming to palampur or nearby places and are looking for a pollution free and homely stay ( 2 ducks, rabbits and roosters are part of family here)...

Secluded place from main road..nothing near in between radius of i guess 3 kms..connecting road from the main road is a kacha road of pebbles..if its ur own car you would just skip reaching this place...stayed in una house..whenvr person talks or walks in other rooms all there talks or noise can be well heard ..rooms look good only frm the outside nothg inside the room ..no led no heater...it was biting cold so had to get a room heater at extra charge..third person bedding also charged extra.. only positive about plce is chef..who cooks delicious food....rest everything is disappointing..thy even had the courage to say not to click a picture by a camera or they gonna charge me extra for carrying a camera ....wont ever book this property ever again...disastrous experience.

Fantastic location..... Beautifully Built.... having rawness of traditional style homes of different areas of Himachal. Being Himachali myself enjoyed the location and food at the resort. Location and food quality at the resort is a big plus. Stayed for 03 nights in Una House. Staff strength is only 04 including cook, security, receptionist, waiter and Housekeeping which clearly means this resort is not at all a 5 star property and in the peak of season service issues will surely be there as despite their best of efforts 4 staff cannot provide service matching to the rental. All in all best suited for group of students/friends who want to njoy at a lonely place and 2 nights are more than enough.

Very nice location though a little away from the main city. In the lap of a valley, a quiet location surrounded by natural beauty, a stream running across the resort & a small pond with ducks. The cottages are well maintained and equipped with required facilities. Play area for kids with table tennis, badminton etc. Hospitality is heartwarming. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday away from the city than this is the place. Very nice food and helping staff. We went in mid March & thanks to goibibo we got very reasonable rates and the stay was worth the money.
