The experience was simply amazing. To begin with, the location of the cottage offers a supreme view of the valley and the snow capped mountains. The cottages are easy to reach via google maps. Their hospitality (especially from Mr. Vishal) and food is amazing. The rooms are clean and very comforting. The place is very relaxing and for those who wish to be away from the hustle and bustle of the town, its a must visit. They don't offer liqour at the cottages but you can still carry your own. To have a better view of the mountains and the valley, you can drive 5 kms up the hill or you can hike to enjoy view from different angles. If you're going up the mountains, an umbrella and a binocular is a must carry. In addition to offering an iconic view of the valley, one can also see many people paragliding from the mountains. Another important thing which you must carry along is medicines. When going into the mountains you must have medicines for headache, vomitting, stomach ache, food poisoning etc. I'm writing this because in mountains you will not find pharmacy within several kilometres and this is something we realized in our following trip after Kais when we went to Tirthan Valley. After reaching Tirthan Valley, my wife fell ill in the evening as she got food poisoning after eating food at Tirthan Valley. Hence, I had to rush to pharmacy which was 3 kms uphill to get medicine but the medicine wasn't much effective so we had to return to Chandigarh early which was not as planned. As far as the stay at Himalayan Kothi Kais is concerned, it was wonderful and I would recommend people to visit here. Its a safe place for couples and you'll enjoy it. The sceneric beauty of the valley and snow capped mountains is what amazes you. Its a quite place and you can play indoor games. They also have some space to play badminton which we loved to play in such an awsome weather.

This Please is blessing in disguise. Why? Its located on a off road Kullu Nagar road (almost 2 km aside on a broken road for about 1 km - very much accessible). Once you reach the place, its super cool, well maintained. Location: Gives you the perfect view of snow laden mountain, you can enjoy while sitting in you room. A day trip to kasol, manali, kullu, bizli mahadev etc. Very serene place away from the traffic and pollution. ***** Hotel: It has 5 rooms. All wooden. Clean. Well carpeted. Cozy with room heater. Balcony with seating where you can spend a whole day. I garden in between and tables along. A perfect Garden. An access to apple orchid just few step away. Washrooms are super clean and nice. They provide towel and soaps. Geyser that runs perfectly. No loop holes, no broken things. All well maintained. Beddings are super clean. A sofa aside where you can sit and relax. NO TV in rooms- yes you can enjoy beauty out. ***** Food: Coming to the food part, it may look costly. But wait just think what you have while coming to the place on road side dhabas. Though 180 for chana bhatura doesn't make any sense, but the food is reasonably fine and sitting in lap of apple orchids and looking at the snow caps in every glance can be blessing and value for money. No nearby options. Get breakfast included in the stay- its value for money. if you want to come with a feel to relax away from the crowd, happy family time, even a couple looking into the nature, YES! Welcome to Kothi Kais.

The hotel is in extremely remote location , which debars you from accessing any place in and around Kullu once you lodge into the premises. The hotel is actually an apartment developed into a 4 room hotel with basic facilities and minimal manpower. We faced load shedding and the back up generator failed to provide electricity for most of the night. However behind the hotel there is a large apple & plum orchard which would provide enthralling view once they are in full bloom. In a nut shell not a family place but excellent place with magnificent snow peaked view of mountains for couples looking for a quality solitary time.

Mesmerizing resort in the lap of nature. Everything about this resort is simply awesome . We luckily welcomed by the rainshowers which added cheery on the cake.The view of snow covered mountains from the resort was breath taking.The lovely music of beas river could be heard from resort.The owner has made the property so beautifully that we spent the entire time over there. The rooms ,the washrooms,the balcony all are simply amazing.The food quality is perfect .They serve fresh food .The walk in the apple orchards added zeal in our day.
