Ibis Bengaluru Outer Ring Road

Horrible.. i reached hotel after my long travel from singapore then to chennai and all the way from chennai to bangalore via cab. Of course terribly tired.. soon after i reached hotel, they asked me to place all my suitcases over the scanning machines and started running it. After that, they found something suspicious in one of my suitcase and asked me to open up, but i was wondering that i already checked thru 2 customs and they could not find anything how come theses people figured out. Nevertheless, i din have any issues, i have opened the suitcase and showed it to them. Then another security commented that, it is not there in that one, i found it in the other one. This is after made me to open my first suitcase and checked everything. He made me to open the other suitcase, all my dresses including out private thing kept out in the reception and continue the check. I was really wondering that, what was they found out something suspicious which none of the other security checks in the airport could not find also i really don't remember that i kept in the suitcase something like that. At last that found that suspicious thing from my suitcase after 30 mins of search and it was a gift pack with some souvenir!!! I know they were doing their job, but is this the way to do it?? If the security staff cant even differentiate a gift box while doing the security check, are they capable for this Job????? It was really a nightmare for me.. never ever visit this hotel in my life time..

This is the most pathetic experience i have ever had. The room service guy has more manners than the executives sitting in reception. Food is not at all good, not many options. No one is helpful, i was in continuous meeting and requested to send my dinner at my room but they denied, this is very basic that if someone if on continues meeting he can not go to a restaurant to collect the food. After too many arguments they finally thought to do a favor and sent, even after that the restaurant guy was behind me to pay as if I will run away, i asked him to add in the total bill but they denied. On the checkout day it was horrible, i never saw this in any hotel, that lady on the counter Deepika Jalala or whatever her name was very rude, Her tone was that she owns ibis, and she was constantly provoking me that whatever i want i can do. . Now i have to spent money from my side as my company will not reimburse without having bill and payment which prove that i really stayed. Guys, if you won't ruin your peace and be ready for like roadside behavior and treatment, then only choose this hotel or go for any other hotel

The location is great, right opposite to the tech park. but on the amenities side and value for money rather on the low side. There are no toiletries and dental kits by default which is kind of built into any other hotel room pricing. Does promote a no parafene soaping +1 for that. Food was ok breakfast was nice. Though on a less crowded day they got table orders wrong for dinner, perhaps vegetarians better take the buffet rather than ala-carte. Travel tip, try avoid reaching the hotel from airport on Monday morning or would take hours.

We landed in a different IBIS midnight nearby in hosur road. The staff kindly guided us to the outer ring road. The rooms are small but enough for a couple. Queen beds are also twin beds put together. you may fall in between if you don't carefully toss on the bed. awesome breakfast and that's where the money is worth. overall small space but full belly
