Very relaxing and scenic. This resort is value for money. The care taker Deepak and his team is very courteous and friendly. They want to help you and make the stay as comfortable as possible. We visited with kids and were happy overall. You only get vistas and nice views. Based on the value for money it is great. At least they make an effort to fix the problems if any. They cook locally and you need to tell them what you want and basis of food availabilty they give a choice. Go mentally prepared to check out from Facebooks and Whatsapp as this overall region over the hills is having slight issue with all mobile networks. It is not resort issue. There are many resort surrounding and all have the same mobile network challange. Route to reach is very scenic and overall very friendly stay and staff. Do not expect great things frankly. Would advise you to carry a goodnight repellent as all of such resorts are out and way above noise of Nanital. My family on first day was very wary of stay in such mountain stay but later while visiting Nanital they agreed and liked this simple resort very much. Be prepared to trek and walk. Only BSNL mobile has good signal. I went with a 3 year and 11 year kid.

I stayed in Janardan Resort from 13th April to 16th April 2017 with my family and we booked 2 rooms for the same. Initially we were not very happy with the rooms as they are very basic ones with bare minimum essentials available. The place is certainly not for the ones who want a luxurious experience or are looking for a fancy resort. But they gave us an amazing treatment all this while and I can personally vouch for their hospitality, especially "Naanu Bhaiya" who took care of all our needs and smallest demands with a big smile. The cook or "Ustaad ji" as they refer, cooks the most delicious food you can find around that area. Their manager "Amit Bhaiya" is the most calm person you will come across who will arrange everything for you just to keep you happy and comfortable. All in all, there is nothing extra ordinary about the infrastructure of the resort, but the only thing that would make me visit and stay there again would be these people and their hospitality for their customers. Thanks for making this stay a memorable one all of you!

The hotel is situated adjacent to rest of the well known hotels in pangot. Its a small hotel with very basic facilities. I stayed at the budget room and dont have much idea about other rooms. However this room, which was the cheapest was decently sized, was clean, there is running hot water in the bathrooms Overall rooms and bathrooms are clean. Rooms are quite cosy as well. The staff consisting of Nalin Pant and his associates are very cooperative and helpful. Overall had a very good beyond expectation experience there. Is a good option for anyone wanting to spend a quite weekend away for commercialized tourist destinations...

THE RESORT IS LOCATED AT A VERY STRATEGIC PLACE. MAY BE DUE TO FESTIVE SEASON(HOLI) THE NUMBER OF STUFFS WERE NOT ADEQUATE(AS INFORMED BY MANAGER). THIS CAUSED DELAY IN SERVICE. OTHERWISE HOSPITALITY OF ALL ATTENDANTS WERE EXCELLENT. COST OF FOOD IS VERY VERY HIGH. REASON BEING, THERE ARE NO ALTERNATE SOURCE OF DINING IN THE LOCALITY. COUSINE IS NOT UP TO THE MARK VIS A VIS COST OF THE FOOD. AVILIBILITY OF HOT WATER WAS ALSO LIMITED DUE TO POWER CUT. OVERALL EXPERIENCE IS GOOD.

A very good hotel at a very low price. We booked it for .. double occupancy. Rooms were clean n spacious. Hot running water was always available. Staff were polite n professional. Specially Mr. Nalin Pant. He made our stay very comfortable. Mr. Pant was always available n very helpful. Location was good. If your are looking for a peaceful place to spend a day, than pangot is for u. Enjoy the bonfire under the starts in janardan resort.

This is a good hotel for a budget traveller. The location of the hotel is great. The rooms are great for the kind of money the hotel charges. The other options in this region (pangot) are way more expensive. The hotel rooms are clean. The only thing I did not find good was the quality of food served . If you are a nature lover and are looking for a budget place to spend a peaceful vacation , this is for you.

The resort is located 15 km distance from nanital. Before u book keep in mind. Dens forest area. Very beautiful place. Resort is overall good. Services very nice. If you want to enjoy natural beauty then go for. Himalaya Darshan is there. No mobile network, no shop, no disturbing element. If you want to take peace from ur busy life u must go there with family or friends. Tracking experience was amazing.

The resort contains 4 rooms. Being located in pangot, it is little farther to nainital. But, location is extremely serene and peaceful. Those who want to spend time in nainital, it may not be advisable. But, for nature lovers it is good location. Rooms are neat and clean. Food used to be served on order at reasonable rates. Staff co-operative. Very much pleasant stay for us.
