I arrived at the Joes homestay tarekare and found the same utterly disgusting. Rooms are damp, smelly and leaking. washrooms haven't been cleaned in ages. So I am unable to stay at the property am with much difficulty am proceeding to Chikamagaluru. I contacted the owner and he has asked me to cancel the booking

Overall good experience. Homestay is still under development. So some room facility problems are there like no washbasin in bathroom, have to keep owner/care taker informed if you need hot water in morning etc. But if you get room at lower price, it's worth staying there.

Overall staying experience was nice. The property was managed by caretaker. The staff were good. There was dining facility. The location is nice. All the amenities were upto the mark. prices was reasonable.

The property is not maintained well. Water dripping through the ceiling, changed the room but the problem persisted. No amenities provided. Definitely a bad experience.
