Kay's is one the best and clean resorts you will find in shiroda...Just a 20 steps walk from the resort is the beach.The property is pretty well maintained,they have a large palatial bungalow with 6 Ac rooms + 7 non ac cottages..We opted for 2 non ac cottages.We booked online on goibibo to avoid full booking/no rooms during peak holiday season.Got a good bit of discount on goibibo. Rooms were clean and spank.All rooms are equipped with TV,Fan, mosquito repellant and clean upholstery.Though rooms tend to be hot due to extreme humidity.Ample space for car parking.Washrooms are also very clean.Wifi connectivity near reception area is a boon as mobile network is rarely available across shiroda. Swimming pool is superb.There is a small kids section too in the pool.Make sure you have swimming costume. The pool timings are from 9am to 6-630pm.There are benches & cushioned pool beds beneath large umbrellas where u can relax and view the sea splashing its waves on the shore front.Resort staff is courteous. Reception center also has carrom board,book reading section & 🏸 .The resort does have a restaurant.You can also get food ordered from outside or eat out as there are ample of good eateries.My cousins who are hard core-sea food lovers ordered fried prawns,surmai for appetizers.Our order was taken at 8.10pm assuring it will take 30mins.However till 9.30 pm nothing of it was in sight.Luckily anothet placed order for chicken chilly & chicken pakoda at around 8.45pm & surprisingly these 2 came out quiet early(took almost 30 mins) but the prawns & fish segment didn't arrive till 9.30pm.Hence we had to cancel the order.Though chicken pakoda & chicken chilly was lip smacking & mouth-watering.Its a must try. We got to know later that the restaurant is run by someone else on contractual basis (& not by the owner mr.prabhu)& since it started operating newly there is quite a delay. Even basic things like coldrinks,salad takes 20mins time.The restaurant needs to improve its service & be quick.Imagine waiting for almost 90mins and nothing turns up in the sea food segment.Morning,we placed order for maggi thinking it would be a masala veggie maggi as informed by the restaurant staff, however it turned out to be a very bland one.No veggies and no salt either.Just plain and tastless maggi.The omlette pav was tasty though & tea as well. The resort needs to place directional boards at key places so travellers can relate and reach destination smoothly.Because gmaps wont work in this area.We got lost in the late hrs of night and almost ended up heading to 2-3 unknown resorts in neighbourhood. Also intercom required in rooms to call up reception team.Everytime u need something,you need to walk till the reception office and give order. Overall a great place to stay with family.Make sure u do pre-booking during holiday season to avoid disappointment.Only the restaurant needs to improve.

Undoubtedly, Kay's By The Sea is one of the best hotels in Shiroda. Extremely humble and courteous staff! Adjoining shack serves good and tasty food. Shiroda beach is just a minute away. You can actually have a nice ocean view from the. gallery I will certainly book this hotel again whenever I want to visit Shiroda in the near future. Overall, 5/5 rating from my side.

Definitely one of best holidays with my family. Location is too good .its rite on beach.swimming pool is big and clean.restaurant is small and limited menu but its very tasty.view from suite room is amazing.definitely best resort in shiroda.prices are high for suite rooms but it is very spacious and worth money

Cottages were spacious, clean and with all necessary amenities. Pool was clean and worth a dip. There were many families so this place suits all kinds of travellers. Definitely worth a recommendation place. We all loved the place .One of the best places by location, ambience, comfort, price and service. .
