Morpheus Valley Resort

The luxury cottages are super tiny. The room ends before starting. Space is well appointed though. The room overall looked clean but the sheets had holes. The hand towel was stained. The bathroom is cramped. The over all feel of the property is nice. Its a 2.5 star resort with very basic amenities. Don't go here and expect hotel type hospitality. We complained about a flickering light in the bathroom at the time of check in and till our check out it was not rectified (we stayed 2 nights/3 days). Food service is quick but food options and quality is very basic. Not a good place for a foodie. Even though they have a menu listing quite a few things, you only get to eat out of the 5-6 things the cook/chef decides to make for the specific meal. Breakfast spread is super small. This resort is not next to the river. It is next to a stream that meets the river. To reach the river/river bed, you need to walk on stones, large and small for about 5 minutes figuring your way to the river (Its fun and a bit dangerous). Go here only for a budget trip with friends!!!

hi, I did a booking from mumbai and got a confirmation that it has been booked on my email id .... even when i was at the airport i got a call from ********about the booking which i confirmed again. When i reached manali and called up morpheus valley people they told me no booking has been made and they didnt got any confirmation about this,that was very frustrating and even i dont have any other option however i managed and got a new hotel which was in manali.... as morpheus valley is far away from manali around 20km. I jst want to say that how come the booking has not been confirmed with the hotel. if a person is new to that place and if something happens like this then its very frustrating and even though the morpheus valley people straight away said no, i told them that i have confirmation email and i got a call abt confirmation and i confirmed it and they told me to talk to *******people about this... very disappointed

LOCATION: Super location. Awesome property. Its peaceful getaway and 1 hour before from manali. STAFF: We were greeted by very courteous staff,especially MR. YASH, the manager. When we wanted to hail bus to manali to experience local mode of travel, Mr. RAJ and security guard promptly not only guided us, but helped us in boarding one. Each and every staff member, from manager to security, greets you with smile when you cross paths with them. FOOD: The room service is simply awesome. They cover each and every dish to protect it from dust while delivering it from kitchen to your room. Response of Room service is prompt and polite. We were served tea within 10 mins of check-in. CONCLUSION: If you are ok to stay little far from crowd of manali or kullu and submerge yourself in peace and harmony of nature with intent of taking benefits of pure oxygen, I strongly recommend this place.

the Resort is beautiful....treat to the eyes ....staff is cooperative....I have never seen the staff who is always on the toes to support u full of etiquette ls...only one thing I want to mention here is when the resort was full of visitors they provide u fresh food ...but as they r having less guest...they serve u Rakaha hua Khana ...on the second last day of our visit I guess they have served us stale food with the new Tadaka ....all family members got stomach infection from early in the morning and continously womiting. they need to improve that section...other wise resort is beautiful.
