Sterling Banashree Badami

I stayed at Sterling Resort in Badami for two nights and here’s my honest review, based on what went well and where things could have been much better. Location: The resort is situated in a remote area, so there aren't many eateries or stores around. However, it is conveniently located near the main tourist attractions, which makes sightseeing easy and accessible. Rooms & Cleanliness: The rooms and washrooms were clean and well-maintained. This was one of the few things that lived up to expectations, and I appreciate the housekeeping team for their efforts. Services & Amenities: For a resort that claims to be 4-star and charges accordingly, the service quality was disappointing. Basic amenities like a dental kit were missing, and we had to specifically request them. For the price being paid per night, such essentials should be provided without having to ask. Overall, the service felt reactive rather than proactive, which isn't ideal for this category of accommodation. Food & Dining: This was one of the most underwhelming aspects of the stay. The menu was very limited, and since there are barely any food options nearby, guests are more or less compelled to dine at the resort. On the first day, breakfast was à la carte but extremely limited in variety. On the second day, they offered a buffet, which was decent in terms of spread but average in taste. For dinner, the prices were on the higher side, and again, the food didn’t justify the cost in terms of quality or flavor. Final Thoughts: Sterling Resort, Badami, scores points for its proximity to tourist spots and for maintaining clean rooms. But it falls short in terms of service and food—both critical aspects of a good hospitality experience. Given the pricing, one expects more attention to detail, better guest service, and food that’s at least on par with what’s being charged. If you're expecting a seamless and premium stay, this may not be the best fit.

Its a decent 3 star property. Dont keep high expectations since its a smaller town and options are less. Even though not at the prime location, its not far away from the cave. Rooms are comparatively much larger and so is the bathroom. There was barely any crowd but they did not offer any upgrade, hence dont keep hopes. Food is badddddd ! They used some stale ingredients which left us with upset stomach throughout the trip. There aren't many options around hence better to cut short the stay and carry something if possible. They take forever to prepare hence make sure to order ATLEAST an hour prior.

Peaceful location and good property, unfortunately no maintainance. Seems like a neglected property due to low demand, which is a shame. The worst thing about this stay has to be the food. we paid for dinner and breakfast and it was a big mistake. Due to low demand we were not given buffet but a ala cart e with a few basic items on menu. That too was very bad tasting food. Please do not take their dinner or breakfast package. Worst worst food,and they took my money and skipped buffet. Why offer that package when u can't honour. I had very bad experience,would never recommend this to anyone

The resort ambiance was very nice and the rooms were nice and hygenic . Food was tasty but bit late once we order . Overall experience of our stay in this resort was very nice . Staff is friendly and very supportive .place is very well maintained . I suggest this place for holiday destination and also for small get-togethers functions .
