Hi, I’m Suresh Kumar, your host at Mountain View Homestay in Malana, Himachal Pradesh. Our homestay has been welcoming guests since 1980, when my father first opened our home to travelers. I grew up in this beautiful mountain village surrounded by guests from all over the world, and today I proudly carry on that tradition with my family. I love meeting new people, sharing stories, and helping others experience the magic of Malana and the surrounding valleys. I’m passionate about hiking and nature, and I know all the best local trails, hidden camping spots, and off the map viewpoints, happy to give you tips or even guide you personally. I’m also a home chef, and I enjoy cooking a mix of traditional Himachali dishes and international cuisines. My wife, who is also an excellent cook, helps me run the homestay, and sometimes our two sons join us when they’re home from school.
