Hotel Padma

the stay was pleasant overall. positives: good value for money. great location. access to autos within seconds when you come out of hotel. in-house catering is great in taste. even though the price is a bit higher it's worth it. 24 hours of hot water and a power supply. excellent room service needs improvement: our room is in third floor above which the roof top restaurant cum bar is located. the smell of alcohol and smoking stinks when you open room doors in evening. room service takes some decent amount of time. so order well in advance so that you don't need to wait with hunger. beware of water bottles and biscuits or chips given by room service. they might cost more. ask price before ordering. kudos: very humble receptionists. even though we arrived 4 hours before our check in time they allowed to have early check in. thanks to receptionist anish for that. they have a great chef by the way. all dishes tasted authentic and delicious.

When we entered the room we found cockroach inside they took outside immediately. Then room was so small not breathable at all. Then we complaint then hotel staff gave us the handicapped room. Ents were roaming around the table while we were having breakfast.It's was so dirty. Cigarate ashes were outside the room as well as outside the lift.overall experience is soo bad.

I have stayed in plenty of places across Kerala. Worst stay. Extra bed provided was pathetic. cockroaches in the washroom. Above all, cigarette smoke suffocates you everywhere in the hotel, even inside your room and when questioned on that, staffs behaved very indifferently. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is excellent and kind of nearby to the railway station. Staff is very helpful polite. No flaws and the room was excellent.
