The best resort option one can find in and around Kanatal considering every thing that matters and a lot more. In case you are trying to decide whether to go for this one or not. Go right ahead. You won't regret if you love nature, want a good time away from the hustle, need some peace or family time and also value your comfort – This is the place to be. Stuff that matters: • Motor accessibility, so yes you can get the elders easily. Also, plenty of parking space • Plenty of space and lawn area, so perfect for kids and pets! • Private cottages with such great service and warm and welcoming staff • Read a book in the sun or enjoy the mountain view while rocking a swing, or simply spend some quality time with your loved one • Not too far from Dehradun, very close to Chamba (Uttarakhand) • Forest Safari and Adventure sports nearby • Amazing food! Bonfire and Barbecues are killer... They arrange everything on request • All necessary and modern amenities available • Local village nearby • Kaudia Forest nearby if you are interested in easy walking trails or just your dose of nature (The views are to die for...!) • Lovely friendly locals, always happy to help or just entertain. • They can also help you book a ride or plan your sightseeing whenever you need any help! Photographs can't do justice to what eyes experience. Kanatal itself is a beautiful place and the property does justice to the same... Just open the door of your room and there you are, either looking at the beautiful mountains or a stunning winter line sunset and everything in between. You can spend hours (in my case, days) just sitting, basking in the sun and taking in the view from the balcony on either side, soaking in the sun somedays or watching the rain/snowfall on others... Read a book, enjoy a steaming cup of tea, spend time talking to friends or spend time with yourself and just be at peace and think... Peace, serenity and happiness at one place. At the end of your trip, I assure you, you will be completely relaxed and satiated. Awesome treks and walks all around... Must visit the Surkunda Devi Temple, Kaudia Forest and explore around the area... It's just Beautiful!

I think I really hit the sweet spot with this property. The location, view and experience was mesmerizing. The cherry on the top was lucky enough to have a glimpse the snowfall which really made the trip memorable for a lifetime. Explaining the property this was a fantastic property - In the midst of clouds - On the hill top - with ample parking space. The pictures were exactly the same as shown in the pics. I was skeptical about booking of this property, but I learnt that the property is under new management. The lady who runs the property is always on her toes to resolve guest issues. The rooms are renovated nicely and are quite spacious. All the rooms have balconies with great view. The staff was very cordial. Few pointers for those who come here. It took us 6 hours from Noida to get here and the roads were great. Place is away from the city hustle and bustle and the natural beauty and nature scenery is very nice. Reason you are able to enjoy this natural habitat is because you are far away from the city. The food was great specially the Garhwali Thali. I came with my family and had a fantastic stay. If you are a nature lover this is the place for you.I really recommend The Kanatal Arbour for a great vacation time with your friends and families.

THE OVERALL STAY HERE IS NOT VALUE FOR MONEY AT ALL.Resort location is good but the overall experience is not worth the money you pay.I booked 2 cottage rooms for ...per night which not even included the basic amenities like room heaters, lukewarm drinking water, bonfire and food. For lunch they included us in the buffet which was ordered by the other guests and that lunch quality was so bad that the Shahi panner was not having any paneer in it was only left with the red chilled sweet puree. Chicken was all chilled and finished. Rice was so chilled that it formed crumps which was absolutely difficult to eat with the plastic spoons they gave. And after all this experience they charged us 400/person for that kind of lunch.So the overall experience in this resort is not a value for money.Food and other basic services.
