Rann Visamo Resort

Rann Visamo Resort is a nice place to stay, with a good location. Services are good. Swiss tent is very inconvenient when temperature is high, otherwise its good. Better to opt for bhunga shelter. Food is great, a local Gujarati and Kutchi food is served during lunch and dinner respectively. Only complain is, only one small hoarding is there to locate the resort. No hoarding infront of resort, had to ask the receptionist to confirm if we arrived to correct place.

The hotel location and the service is excellent. The only problem is they don't have any power backup. We visited during 1st week of October and it rained in the evening and power went off and didn't come back till we checked out next morning. Outside the weather was pleasant due to rains but inside the bhungas where we stayed it was hot with no air flowing. The result was we stayed awake most of the night.

The mud huts are superb and excellent. The Hut is net and clean and with all basic provisions. The traditional music by the local artist set the mood in the evening. The traditional gujrati kutch authentic meals were very nice. The staff is very simple and children friendly. These are Village people with whom one enjoys a small chat. Overall super memorable experience.

The hotel is good if you live in Bhunga shelter, I stayed in Swiss tent and I assume almost no one will be able to bear the day light heat waves and high temperature. Otherwise recommended, good home made food, musical kutch folk night and at night temperature dips which is good enough for sleeping.
