Hotel Rathna Residency, Erode

I didn't show up as the person I spoke with refused to give me 6am to 6am check in. So I booked a better deal of 1 executive suite room for 24hrs that too for a lesser price. But Ranganathan Residency asked me to pay another Rs. 1500+ for a 6am check in for 6hrs on top of the already booked 24hrs from 12 noon to 12 noon period! All I asked was to change the 24hrs schedule from 6am to 6am instead of 12 to 12, as my train would reach Erode by 5.50am! Anyway I got the another better accommodation for 24hrs 6am check in and I checked out at 4pm same day. I already had a hectic schedule and in the chaos I missed cancellation window! What's the point of hotels having rooms for which the customer is ready to pay but refuses to accommodate at the customers convenient time?

i stayed with my family and few issues faced here, 1. the health faucet was not working properly 2. ⁠we went outside and back to room and experienced the bad cigar smell in the rest room. 3. we booked a room included dinner, while checking, the manager informed us the dinner is chargeable if it is above rs.1000 for whole family, it was not mentioned during booking otherwise we would have selected room without dinner. absolutely it is very shock and not acceptable. 4. ⁠the dinner food ordered in room service was not good in taste.

I have stayed in the property and my overall stay was very nice there. Hotel staff behavior was good and the hotel amenities were fine. I had food over there and the quality was nice. Location was also very convenient for me. The parking area of the property was not good, the space was very narrow and hence it was difficult to park the car.

It is located in the main city area, nearby bus stand & railway station.Staffs & services were too good and it was properly maintained & cleaned.Even he room was also very comfortable & well-maintained. Overall had an amazing experience in this hotel.
