The Hotel is about 20 kms away from Gulmarg and accessible through a kuchha road along a filthy open drain.We were shocked to be told at check-in that the Hotel switches on heating for just 4 hours from 8 PM to Midnight, as per their “Hotel Policy”. This was not mentioned in the booking , else we would have never booked this Hotel. Nor was it mentioned anywhere in our Booking Voucher. Pathetic experience in check-in. Allocated room was in the ground floor in front of parking. Glass window and lack of privacy. Always need to put curtain on. It is far away from Gulmarg. Do not go by the photos

The hotel was good near and clean good Hospitality and Awesome food with humble staff Quit good idea to stay here if you wish to continue for gulmarg next only 21 kms from kunzer to Gulmarg

Location of the hotel is nice, beautiful vews can be enjoyed from the hotel, temperature is also comfortable as it is not too much cold. Rooms are cleaned and good to stay for families. Food was also very tasty. All staff were friendly and polite. It was really a fantastic stay there in Gulmarg Residency.

Location is very far from Gulmarg. It was an average hotel, nothing wow or anything. nothing much to do around the hotel area. Due to electricity Voltage issue they are Gas Heaters inside room. Heater was very effective but it caused headache to me. Hotel staff is very good. Staying in Srinagar in houseboat and then hiring cab from "Srinagar - Gulmarg" and "Gulmarg - Srinagar" would be a better option. as in any case you will have to hire a cab to reach Gulmarg and he will charge for entire day.
