Very beautiful resort, excellent cleanliness, very sweet speaking staff and a very safe place for family or valid couples. I want to tell all my acquaintances that if they want to enjoy Jagannath temple, Konark Sun temple and sea shores in a balanced way then Yatri Niwas Konark will be the best choice.

Quiet, comfortable, simple, cozy, pocket friendly accommodation with AC and garden close to UNESCO heritage, arty Konark temple. Enjoy a cup of early morning tea and a simple free breakfast. Their restaurant serves homely veg and non-veg lunch and dinners.
High value for money for simple living.
Personal care, free parking, homely food and spacious and quiet environment, walkable distance away from the main Konark temple and Archaeological museum. Private transport ( auto and taxis) are availa ...more

It is the best available option in konark till date 23 april 2025. Resturant is decent and pricing is reasonable. Executive rooms are doable.

the delux rooms are pathetic. there was an yellow liquid oozing out of the mattress. the bed sheet and pillow covers are visibly dirty. the blanket smells strongly of damp odour. the ac is very old, has only on/off function with no temperature or fan speed adjustment. the standing fan seems to have never been cleaned. the chairs were very dirty too.

if you want a reliable and safe stay in konark, this can be a good option. though management is more like a govt guest house rather than a private hotel, but you can see that as a positive influence and was my reason to pick this option
one thing not to forget, yatrinivas is just a name given and you can easily forget about that and consider as economical & safe hotel with a basic resturant onsite to assist with food etc
