Unfortunately I had a very negative experience here. I don't normally post negative reviews as I like to help everyone on their business path but how this turned out, I had no choice.After the first night, myself and my wife didn't sleep due to the uncomfortable bed and dogs barking all throughout the night. And when I say barking, I'm not talking about sounds in the distance but rather multiple dogs, aggressively, for hours on end right outside the property. I informed the owner that we would l ...more

A proper homestay experience. The host family is extremely nice and friendly - they treat you like a family member but do not invade privacy at all. Wifi is really good. Best for family vacation as well as remote work. Very affordable. Food is so tasty that even great restaurants are nothing infront of what they cook. Highly recommended in all aspects.

It was a nice experience to stay at River View Homestay. The Owner of the Property Mrs. Kamla is very Nice lady. She welcomed us warmly well before the check-in time and provided us with a room immediately. The Room was equipped with required utilities. Ms Jyoti who is managing all services in Homestay is also very Polite and helpful. Their food is delicious just like Home made and all other services are also very good. We had an awesome experience during our stay here. The people are very welcoming and caring. We got a feeling of home away from home such was the warmth we felt. The food they served was homemade as you get in homestays and on top of that the pricing lesser than hotels in Dharamshala and the taste was much more better. We played cricket with the kids there and also trekked a little in the village with them. Overall the concept of homestay is better I comparison of hotels when we visit hill stations.

We Stayed At Anandam Home Stay for 3 Nights and our stay was very Pleasant. Specially me and my family love pets and Dada AKA Mr. Siladitya Chakrabarti has 4 Pets at the property. Moreover the place has wonderful views, the local people living around the property are lovely and you get the food prepared just as per your requirement.
