Thaneegai is not a hotel, it is more of a guest house. There are no amenities like you get in a hotel. No phone in room to call reception, no one to help with luggage. Not even sufficient toiletries are given. There is no buffet for breakfast, they order a weird taste south indian thali of you have added breakfast with your stay.

My 3rd time in Pondicherry. I booked this hotel. When I entered the room, I was like wow, 😂 Spacious clean room and bathroom.This was my best decision. Closer to all amenities, also helped me with early check in which was much needed as was super tired with my journey, helpful staffs. Everything happened for the best. Will visit again.

Good hotel i have never booked, their amenities are so good and staffs polite and helpful and also the budjet is low which is affordable.
The places are near by like beaches,bar,restro bar,club,boat houses etc

Nice hotel. location and parking facility. All the stuff is good. Food you will get near walking distance only and the quality is also nice. Will recommend this hotel for family/ groups/ Solo.
