5 *a heartfelt thank you to the astor kolkata team* i recently had the pleasure of staying at the astor kolkata, and i must say that the experience was truly exceptional, despite some initial hiccups. when i realized that the hotel didn't have a lift facility, which was a crucial requirement for me due to health issues, the team went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. they kindly allowed me to cancel my booking with a refund, which was a huge relief. what truly made my stay special was ...more

The hotel is good and located centrally. The food is quite tasty but the portion size is not at par to the rates. The furniture in the room needs to be cleaned properly; it has stain marks, cup marks. The staff is very friendly and prompt. Also, as there is no lift; it can be a bit difficult for pregnant and older people to climb till the second floor

First I liked the ambience of the place. It is like I have entered into a british building. It is indeed grade 1 heritage building. Staff was very humble. Room was neat and clean.

Staff looks overburden , didn’t get any welcome drinks neither they drop my luggage to the car! Overall stay was pleasant .
