I specifically chose this resort for its access to the river from the resort but to surprise the access to the river is now restricted. No where it was disclosed during bookings nowhere we informed at time of check in. This stay was an anniversary gift to my wife, but both the gift and our mood have been ruined. The resort is good, the food is a bit expensive but tasty.one negative feedback about their tieup with cab service provider. We booked their cab but as I got bigger one in Uber, I cancelled it. I also gave ₹300 as he came at such short notice. Later when my uber driver came, hotel's cab driver threatened him and didn't allow him to enter the resort. He literally clicked uber pics and told to crash the car and sent him back. pathetic experience and sad part, these are associated with U river gate resort.

It deserves not more than a 3 star property. Property is too vast and nothing much is there, it was almost all dark, so you would feel like village (which actually was the case). It was 30-35 min drive interiors from the main highway. Ala carte food was nice, tastes superb although bit over priced but that's ok considering you don't have a choice. Morning breakfast was too sad, not much options, moreover tasteless, we literally tried every dish but no satisfaction. You have to ask for everything ...more

a good resort with nice rooms. Good place to go with your family. Rooms are at a distant from the main building and restaurant and hence a good long walk. Senior citizens would need the golf carts employed within the resort. it's a nice weekend getaway close to Mumbai

Resort was full of mosquitoes everywhere including in room. Repellent provided by the hotel were not effective and couldn't sleep owing to mosquito bites. Mud and grass in play area/ adventure zone along with mosquitoes and earth insects made it dangerous to venture out for kids. Indoor play area is very small with hardly anything. Food was good but expensive. Service was good and quick.
