Honest review: In points
PROS:
near to all the tourist spots
CONS:
#the lights and charging ports were not working at all ,we requested to get them sorted out or change our alloted room , but the Manager was kinda into not doing it and showed null efforts
#No mopping was done
#room and beds were clean but had a pungent smell all over the day( we booked for 4 bed mix dorm)

The best place for long stay, i really enjoyed the hospitality of whereabout hostel. They offered the best tour in udaipur. I discovered a lot of offbeat places as well with them. They have a very beautiful lakeview cafe which gives you amazing views. The best part is the location and parking facility, all the famous places are walkin distance only and offer big secured parking space as well.

I recently stayed at this hostel, which had a vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff, making it a great place to meet fellow travelers. However, hygiene standards were lacking, particularly in shared bathrooms and kitchens. The café menu was unremarkable and overpriced compared to local food options. Additionally, on my last day, my bed was changed without notice for incoming guests, which felt unprofessional since I had paid the same amount. With improvements in cleanliness, café offerings, and guest treatment, this hostel could become a top choice for travelers.

Beautiful location which is close to the market and lake pichola. Clean dorms and nice common area with a canteen with great food.
Friendly behaviour of staff. The stay is easy, relaxed and comfortable.
