Rio Rooms Medical College Calicut

1/5 - Disappointing Stay, Not Worth the Price* I recently stayed at Rio rooms, near medical College Calicut and was thoroughly disappointed. Despite the price, the room was cramped and lacked basic amenities. The following issues made my stay unpleasant: - Insufficient space, not justified by the price - Broken ceiling , mirrors and fan - Unhygienic surroundings - Poor maintenance overall - Absence of Dust bin, telephone Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The management needs to address these issues and improve the overall quality of stay. *Rating Breakdown:* - Cleanliness: 1/5 - Maintenance: 1/5 - Value for Money: 1/5 - Amenities: 2/5 - Service: 2/5 *Recommendation:* Look elsewhere for better value and quality.

pleasant staff. wifi was available but was not working. the tv was smart but since the wifi was not working it was almost useless. filtered water was available. the room and washroom was neat. ac was working fine. was provided with a toothbrush and paste, but to be useful it should be equivalent to the number of guest, that is two. two glasses were available. the intercom was not working. hot water was available. there was a balcony available. there was no chair but it was provided with a flat bench-like table. the restaurant is available in the same building. bus stand in front of the entrance. an ideal stay for students.

I had the worst experience where me and my friends were travelling and got late due to new year’s eve. We reached around 1pm and the hotelStaff is like they have already closed the booking and there are no rooms available. After fighting with them for sometime they agreed to give a non ac room where i have paid for a ac room and its not refundable. I had to call the customer care service and they said they will refund the amount god knows when. The hotel staff were not at all co operative and the manager were not responding to the calls. This was my first booking and no one is there to resolve my issue.

It's not worth it as per the amount paid, room not cleaning, bathroom smelling, mosquitos, AC fixed on wrong side, side table hit the head, small size of bed, NO Hot water, Wifi not working, TV is on WiFi...... Overall we struggled. Breakfast was horrible, not clean, not tasty, served on paper...... You visit once and stay here then keep it on your website.
