This stay is at height so to reach here you have climp some 40-50 stairs.. View was nice from balcony.. Rooms are small but cozy.. It had a kettle & a water camper .. It didn't have any toiletries.. Also, you can't order tea or anything before 9am. There is no room service for food so you have to go to in their cafe only. Cafe was cute, small but menu was pricy. Aloo Paranthas were bland, tea & coffee both were really good. To reach mcleodganj main market there is a shortcut which is around 100 stairs from the back gate of this stay which was very convenient for us but if you have problem with stairs (like my parents) then its a problem & you will have to take the normal walking route which is long. The host Aakash was really helpful & was readily available on calls. He arrange us cab whenever needed. Overall we had a nice experience of stay.. We enjoyed the balcony view every morning. Room service & cafe service can be improved by increasing the serving time & also by installing the phone service in rooms so as to call the reception or cafe. Atleast Tea/ coffee should be available from 6-7am. Rest was fine & you can go ahead with this stay if you have no problem with climbing stairs so that you can reach market & cafes anytime.

I recently stayed at Albela House Hotel, and while I appreciate some aspects of my stay, there were several issues that need attention to enhance the overall guest experience.Strong Unpleasant Smell: The room I was assigned had a persistent and unpleasant odor that seemed to come from the ceiling. It made my stay quite uncomfortable, and I believe it needs immediate attention.Bathroom Door Lock: I was surprised to find that there was no lock on the bathroom door. Privacy is essential when using the bathroom, and the absence of a lock was inconvenient and uncomfortable.Inconvenient Location: The hotel's location was not ideal for me. It was situated atop a location with many stairs, making it challenging to access the market area and other attractions. This can be a significant inconvenience for guests who have difficulty with stairs.Lack of On-Site Dining: It would have been more convenient if the hotel had an on-site restaurant or at least offered room service. Having to go out for every meal was not what I expected from a hotel.The room was not worthy room was stinking as hell and there was no staff service at the location

1 room is very dirty, smelling in room, no tv in room, no heater available, 2 location is very bad, very down hotel by main road, it's panik if you travel with family. 3 towel is also very dirty and smelling. washroom is very. 4 born fire is chargeable. miss guiding on site. 5 location is also very bad to reach hotel.

We stayed at Albela House and Cafe and we must say that experience was so amazing that we sometimes we felt that we are at home with full comfort and peace. Staff is very polite, friendly and wear a beautiful smile on their faces. Thanks for all the team for adding great memories. Cozy and comfortable.

The stay was ok, the washrooms are not well maintained and please be aware that they don't offer room service. I won't recommend for family stay but it's ok if you are a single or couple traveller. Prefer a hotel with better location and service if you are travelling with family.

The location is beautiful, the views from your window is to die for. The only thing to keep in mind is it is a little far from the main square. Although, there is a shortcut but that involves stairs with lot of steps. So if you are fit enough it is a perfect budget stay.

For the price the experience was good. There was no room service, but they mentioned it beforehand. Tea was good there. Walk/stairs to the market was exhausting for my mom. View from garden area was amazing. Rooms were clean. Above average experience within budget.

The hotel is good although a bit old. Its 8 mins walk from mall. I stayed in studio room with kitchenette. It was spacious and the view from balcony was good. The only negative thing was there was no room service as they are short staffed.

Budget hotel with clean room. Provided electric kettle and items to make coffee or tea. Also provided water in room. However, the bathroom was small in size and they don't have a power backup if there is any electricity outage.
