Ganga resort is the best place to stay in Govindghat Joshimath region. I would rate it 5 stars for their hospitality, cleanliness and amazing food. The view from property is breathtakingly beautiful. We loved this place so much that we extended our stay by one day. Arvind ji is very helpful and considerate towards all the guests. We caught cold & fever as we were coming here after kedarnath trek and the entire staff took very good care of us. They arranged hot water for gargle and steam etc. Don’t think twice before booking your stay here.

Nice place to be away from the Joshimath crowd. Its located in Govindgath valley. The amazing location of the resort. Food was okReaching there takes about 45 min from Joshimath. Staff was really helpful and caring. All together a nice place if ur looking for peace in the land of gods.This place is the starting point of the trek for valley of flowers and hemkund sahib gurdwara.

Location is 18 km from Auli have connectivity problem due to ongoing road construction and devlopment. Travellers who are planning to visit Auli advice to reach before sun set. Good to stay in case of travelling to Badrinath/Flower Valley and Hemkund Sahib. Care taker of Hotel Mr Arvind Sharma is good in nature and very supportive. Taste of food is also good.

A very good homestay, situated right beside Alaknanda, with very warm and welcoming people. The food is great and they have arranged for a bonfire that happens every night. Would recommend for all people travelling solo, couple or with friends.. The bonfire that happens every night and the great food.

I had a good experience in ganga resort homely stay and its breakfast and dinner quality is too much good. In winters the bonfire facility is also available.There employs are very polite and the owner mr. Arvind is also polite

Very good location and property was nicely maintained. Food was good. Services were managed by both owner and caretaker. There was no restriction for going out and coming back.
