Just in lap of nature, in mid of jungle, wake with chirping of birds. Very beautiful location, neat and clean rooms, homely food, very supportive staff. Cottages are carefully designed with rustic looks with modern amenities. This place is not much commercialized, so you can relax and enjoy peacefully. Close proximity of Ranganathaswamy Temple and KGudi safari. Krishna was very helpful and he accompanied us to visit temple and safari drive. Cottages are better options, we stayed one day in cottage and one day in Tent house. Tent house is a kind of aloof from cottages area, does not have wooden floor and no duplex like structure as available in cottage. One suggestion to make stair case in cottage to go upstairs more secure as it is mostly open from side. Spa place is located on the lake and good massage is provided. A must visit place. Near to bangalore. Will definitely come back soon.

I had an amazing two days at gorukana.Its a place one should visit for complete relaxation away from the maddening crowd.There are 10 cottages,1 tree and 1 tent house.We stayed at the cottage which is two storeys high with huge glass windows overlooking the forest.The cottages can accomodate upto 4 people and is very comfortable.I specially loved the small attic on the top.The tariff is a bit on the higher side however the service and quality of food is amazing.There is also a inhouse massage centre.Each cottage is tastefully done and has a name assigned to it.Overall an amazing two nights and i would definately come back again.

I am greatly impressed with the staff anf their coordiality. It is good to know that this organization was created as a eco tourism, specifically to create jobs for the tribals in the area. Dr. Sudarshan has done a great job in educationg the locals, the way they communicated about their traditions, the flora and fauna of BR hills was very impressive. The tribal dance was also very spiritually awakening. Just be part of the group. You will have a nice stay.

it was a very memorable stay at Gorukana. food was really good. staff was supportive. the tribal dance program in the evening was mesmerizing. fun time with family. I felt it better than jungle lodge and resort. some things which can be improved are some activities for children within the campus (like play area, indoor games, etc).

One of the good options in BR Hills Run by tribal community.. So hospitality is not that great. Food is decent enough.. Service was sometimes slow. Not difficult to locate the place. Hardly 250 m from the main road.. Yet with a view. Evening there was a cultural program by the tribals..that was very good.

Nice place to stay and take back great memories, especially the evening tribal dance program with bonfire. Food is good considering your are in the middle of forest. The road to property is very narrow, should do something about it and property need better maintenance and upkeep with better room service.

This was my second time at Gorukana and I knew what to expect. The accommodation is nice and cozy and the food is basic and decent ( I won't call it great). Service is ok Its an ideal weekend getaway location and only about four and a half hours drive from Bangalore.

Had a memorable stay at Gorukana experiencing decent amenities, hygienic good, friendly staff. it was nice to spot an elephant next to our cottage. And icing on the cake was cultural performance from Soligas providing us interesting stories of the place.

It was near the village and on the jungle. The view was nice. The ambiance was good. Staff was co-operative. Food was good also. It was a secure place. Swimming pool was not available. Housekeeping was available. Overall it was good stay.

This is Jungle Forest Camp style Location & the Cottage gives a rugged in style inside amenities are luxurious but not upto the full mark. Staffs are kind enough. Little bit higher price but it’s o.k

It was a nice experience at Gorukana with my family. But we didn't have any tribal dance experience. Food was delicious and staffs were polite. Staffs were cooperative for any kind of help.
