Infinity Resorts Kanha

Immensely enjoyable experience at Infinity Kanha! We stayed at Infinity Kanha second week of October, 16. We traveled from New Delhi via train to Jabalpur and took a car to reach the resort. We stayed at one of the Luxury Tents for two nights during Dushera weekend. About the property: Property is located near Mukki gate (approx 8 kms) in buffer zone of the Kanha national park. This resort is an excellent choice for stay for people opting for jungle safari from Mukki gate. One gets a feeling of staying in the middle of forest! Resort property is literally surrounded by forest vegetation. Trees, grass, shrubs, different sorts of insects, frogs, mosquitoes, spiders, birds etc are in plenty. I was initially surprised, as one does not get to experience these things in the city at all. We had to sign a liability waiver declaration form as part of check-in formalities. However, it didn’t really matter as hotel staff told us that it was standard. Typically, those wanting to get a first hand feeling of staying in the forest will enjoy the ambiance immensely. There is a decent size swimming pool. Effort made my hotel staff to keep the pool area clean was commendable considering that frogs and other insects would splash into the water every time! There is a common area (with a home theater and projector; there was carom board and table tennis table as well) which may be used by people. Last but not the lease there is a river stream running beside the property (accessible via stone path from the resort) which provided nice view of water area. About the rooms: Since we had opted for a luxury tent we got a substantial amount of area solely dedicated for our use. Insides of the Tent were quite plush and well maintained. Rooms were clean with all amenities in place. Collection of furniture added to the charm. Room did not have a T.V so as not to disturb the local surroundings and create unnecessary noise. I felt this was apt idea. You get to enjoy pin-drop-silence atmosphere and serenity and peacefulness is something which made our stay even better. Our package had all meals inclusive (would recommend to opt for all meals option since the resort is middle of forest there aren’t any other eateries nearby). I would have to admit that one gets excellent value for money. Food taste was good, with lot of variety. Kitchen staff provided us with packed breakfast since we had opted for early morning safari which was really nice of them. Lunch & Dinner menu was quite sumptuous. Although meals are generally on buffet basis, for us meals were made to order since occupancy was low. As a result we felt really nice have meals in their big dining area all to ourselves! About hotel staff and service: We were extremely happy with the service of hotel management. Each staff member, be it manager, kitchen staff, table attendants, transport in-charge were courteous, polite and helping. Staff members were always on their toes. You tend to get a feeling of importance and at the same time hotel staff made every possible effort to make our stay comfortable. Thanks to hotel staff for making every bit effort to make us feel special. About safari experience: We had heard from lot of people that several safari trips are required to get a chance of seeing a Tiger. However, we were lucky to see a Tiger on our first safari. We had booked two Safari (morning & evening) and were able to see a tigress on our morning safari. I would insist on getting safari permits booked beforehand (we booked ours from govt website a month prior to our visit). Overall, our stay at Infinity Kanha was really enjoyable and we would recommend other to book at this hotel without a second thought! Pro Tips: 1. The approach road to this resort is slightly tricky (considering that Mukki gate of Kanha National park is almost 52 kms off nearest town) smaller suspension vehicles might have trouble traversing the route 2. Do carry package water with you as bottled water is almost 3 times normal rate (although you would get RO water) 3. Keep good quantity of cash as nearest ATM is almost 50Kms away. Each safari trip will cost around 3-4 K 4. It will be preferable to not roam in property after dark (carry a torch light that is kept in the room) as most of areas have insects lurking around 5. Opt for morning safari as probability of seeing a Tiger is more during early morning and be on-time 6. There is no wi-fi at resort and mobile network connectivity is quite poor

We stayed in tent the stay was great. Tent accommodation nicely furnished taken good care of how the furniture is arranged. Its a concrete base only the top is of cloth so its safe. It has lots of windows so staying in room also we can enjoy the beauty of forest. Each tent is placed in a way that it is not a cluster structure .Food was good and as per our taste they even made the changes in food. Nice pool and No time restriction. There are two ways to get there. While reaching there we took a way which was a bad path of road of around 8km , the other route is better. Net connection is bad, only idea network gives us 2G speed. Its a ideal place to stay if you are going in a group and can enjoy the property in leisure .In all it was a pleasant stay.

One can always throw money and enjoy the most however if one wants to have the most optimal utilization of his hard earned money, then Infinity Kanha is THE place to visit and stay. I simply grade it as one of my finer experiences in recent past. Mr Naresh and his team was extraordinarily sensitive to our needs and they assisted us properly. A beautiful property and fantastic upkeep. All the best.

Its an amazing property ,can say a mini forest before we enter the real one.I would highly recommend the same for any nature lover.The services can be rated as 7 star reason being that the head of the place who is incharge himself is a great person who is very customer centric.Great hospitality.We would certainly make another visit there in near future.
