Jungle by sturmfrei Udaipur

Staying at Jungle Hostel was an absolute delight! The hostel's laid-back atmosphere combined with its vibrant decor and friendly staff made my stay truly memorable. The location, nestled amidst lush greenery, provided a serene escape from the bustling city life, yet it was still conveniently close to all the major attractions in Udaipur. The dorm rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with cozy beds and lockers for security. The common areas were perfect for socializing and meeting fellow travelers, whether it was chilling out in the hammocks, or enjoying delicious homemade meals together. What truly sets Jungle Hostel apart is the personalized attention from the staff who went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had a fantastic experience. Whether it was recommending hidden gems to explore in Udaipur or organizing fun activities like hiking or cultural tours, their passion for hospitality shone through. Overall, Jungle Hostel exceeded my expectations in every way, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable hostel experience in Udaipur. I stayed here for 2 nights but the flipside to this stay for me was the noise in the evenings. The rooftop terrace had live music events and the sounds would muddle and muffle up along with adjacent buildings hosting their own musical events - this made it a noisy affair till 11pm. Plus it's also located next to a temple which would have their pooja/aarti timings chiming in. Also, the room is okay for a budget stay. In reality, the walls had some stains and they could have done a better job in maintaining the room. The staff though was helpful and warm. The day time view from the terrace restaurant is nice overlooking the Udaipur lake.

I don't have a good experience at all, since the time i entered this place I'm having bad experiences one after the other. Whatever they have mentioned about their superior room facilities, you may find most of them aren't available.. Total waste of money On the name of room service they didn't even helped with the luggage and there's no lift so have to use the stairs and those stairs are so congested that it's very hard to climb the stairs with a suitcase. They mentioned about the closet and chair in the room but neither was there. Shelves in room are dirty, you can't even out your stuff on it.

It was not worth the price. The check in time is very late due to which we have to spend half of the day in common area. In common area usually the guys are smoking joints which was uncomfortable being just 2 girls. The common washroom was extremely dirty and stinking. Not even the door was getting locked. I had to ask my sister to guard the door. Only good part was that it was at walkable distance from most of the sightseeing locations. Uncomfortable to sit in common area due to guys staring and smoking joints.
