Lagoon Sarovar Premiere Resort, Pondicherry

I stayed for 3 days (6th -09th October 2024) with family, I booked deluxe Room category room. Pros:1. rooms are specious and cleaned.2. Property is very nice , big size pool, indoor playing activities, scenic view of backwater.3. Service & staff was good.Cons:1. Deluxe Room does not have window also, you can't see outside of the room, its depressing, though there is sufficient sun light from ventilator)2. Food was just average not up to the level like 4/5 start property, not enough verities. they have big size ceiling fan in restaurant no AC, since it is open facing towards pool , due to fan food get cold very fast.3. Its not beach access property but beach(Sandunes Paradise Beach) is just 2.4 km from property. 4. 400- 500 meter road toward hotel is very pathetic and its kind of village (lot of street dogs , sheep/chickens on the road etc).5. No good restaurant near property within 5 km , you need to go to Pondi city for food if you want to explore outside food.6. I paid slightly high price for 3 night 1 room stay

I recently stayed at Lagoon Sarovar Premiere Resort in Pondicherry for two days and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The resort’s unique lake view and the indoor water games provided a refreshing alternative to the typical beach resort, offering a delightful backwater feel reminiscent of Kerala. My family had a great time. I would like to extend special thanks to the front desk staff - Thilak, Anu, and Cinderella.... as well as to Ajith Kumar and Prakash from the restaurant. A big shout-out to Laxmanan from the water sports team. All the staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to assist happily with any questions or concerns we had. Thank you to everyone for making our stay memorable. Keep up the great work!

This was the best vacation I had in Pondicherry! Oh man what should I say??? Everyone at lagoon sarovar smiles back and is responsive to everything that you ask for!! Right from the chef to the baggie guy, Thanks alot! You guys are amazing. Coming to my room, I booked a pool view room, it was stunning and super clean. Breakfast and Food they serve is nothing less than any star hotels and it tasted great.

A beautiful property on the backwaters, well maintained and friendly staff. They have activities like swimming, cricket, archery, snooker, foosball etc. They also have water activities like boating, jetski, bannana ride, zorb roller, donut ride etc on paid basis. The complimentary breakfast spread was very nice and huge. The only downside I would say is limited options for Lunch and Dinner.
