A good enough place to stay. The mall road is about at a 15-20 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The room was clean enough. If you are a student, then this hotel would be a good choice for you considering the price, but if you are coming with your family and do not own a car, refrain from booking the hotel. The food prices are high, but that is expected from every other hotel. Also, the hotel is located in the basement, so network on your cell phone might be an issue. Overall, I'd say, it's a value-for-money place.

we reached late in the night and were able to locate it with little efforts guy at reception was very friendly who had earlier updated to call him up whenever we arrive and he wil be there to assist rooms, bathrooms, linens are were pretty clean although I have to add its a nice budget hotel and expectations should be set accordingly. geyser was a bonus TV worked fine superfast checkin and checkout process overall total value for money hotel staff promptness to assist and serve

Great place to stay at this price. Staff was very nice and helpful. Car parking was safe too. Will stay at this place only for my next trips. Nice view from hotel + good place to stay with friends. Very near to most of the local attractions. Enjoyed the walk to and from the hotel. Much thanks. Totally recommend.

Actually the hotel is good but just a problem of water but he some how managed to get liked that overall close to Himachal musuem and around 2km to mall road and all other places if you are having a car then wow you can roam all the place easily and come back to the hotel easily.

facilities are average,you have to ask for everything like towel,soap,dustbin and drinking water television,hot water facility available. location near to institute of advance studies. hotel staff is polite and friendly simple

Best hotel at best price.. Good hotel with nice view, calm location nearest to the mall, friendly staff, clean and well maintained hotel. It has independent parking. We recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Simla.

Very near to mall road and vip area of shimla. Secure place to stay for family and girls. Rooms were clean and most of the facilities were available. Will recommend this hotel to others too.

Hotel Lotus is situated at good location near about 103 number bus staff , ambedkar chowk and Akashvani Shimla. Staff was good there and very cooperative.

it's proximity to oberoi Cecil hotel made it an easy choice. the only problem was non-availability of kitchen/food in the hotel.
