We stayed here for 3 nights in Dec 2019 and I am told this property is new and just 6 months old. The locatioon is very good and the staff are good and friendly. But the overall experince is disappointing. By design, the hotel rooms are spacious enough but the issue is they have used all low cost furniture, carpets, bathroom fittings and more importantly the toileteries and towels are not good at all. Most towels were dirty and had stains. We requested for clean towels but were never given one. This being a Seagate group, the breakfast is a great disappointment as usual. Overall, for the price paid, it is not value for money but they seem to take advantage of the location of the property as the pilgrims have very little options. NOT VALUE FOR MONEY. Beautiful, well kept, neat and clean, spacious room with couches and coffee table. Visited with my son and wife, booked a triple bed room. The toom is huge and almost like a studio apartment. Refrigerator, hot water in washroom, tea coffee sachets and kettle available in room. Large screen sony bravia smart tv in room, didn't get cable but wifi was available by hotel to watch Netflix (ur own account) or youtube, etc. Though I used my own hotspot. Right behind bus stand. Walking distance from shrines, market and beach. Restaurant service wasn't used but prices looked average bangalore swiggy/zomato prices. Staff is polite and friendly. Ask if you need anything. 24 hrs flexible checkout for direct booking. Cleanliness and space. Didn't use any other service though. Fluffy beds, clean linen and pillow covers, lean washroom with hot water and shower, soap, shampoo, what else would a family ask for. Great experience for the money spent in a religious tourism place like Velankanni where people majorly come for a day or two. Staff friendly.

so i recently stayed with my family at this hotel. i have been coming to velankanni many times and stayed at many hotels in the vicinity. this time made my mind to stay at mary land suites and must say was a good choice. big spacious clean rooms with all the needful amenities. the restaurant quality of food was very very good. entire stay we ate at the hotel restaurant. service was extremely good. shreedar and team were very hospitable and kind. definitely recommend people to dine at this restaurant. worth the price. thank you for your service, will definitely come back in the near future

Overall good experience, It would be better if they could make the room ready before the guest arrives, we had to wait around 15-20 minutes for the check in ,since the room cleaning was in progress, had to call to the room service around 10 times to pick the call and get a bottle of water which was supposed to be provided in room. despite of these calls we had to come down from 4th floor and get the water from the reception. location and hotel facilities.

Wonderful and comfortable stay! Church view room! Walking distance from the church. My father loved the food here so we had most of the meals in room itself. Gave one less star coz room was dusty and floor was too oily which they said was coz of chemicals used for cleaning. Slippers not provided. And the music played in the corridors during day was too loud. we came to room only for few hours to rest but the loud music disturbed a lot inside the room

Mary Land Church view suites is a nice hotel, ambience is good, amenities are fine, front desk staff, restaurant manager are very friendly and polite approach. Quality of food in their restaurant is awesome and enjoyed lot. Hotel is located close to the Church, and a walkable distance only. Overall a great experience and highly recommend this hotel for those who wish to stay in a decent place at Velankanni pilgrimage center.

Fantastic View of the Church and Town from room. Neat rooms friendly and cooperative Staff.They have a restaurant but it is seperate from the hotel every time you order something for in room dining you have to pay on spot the bills cannot be clubbed during checkout. Only one water bottle per day per room any thing additional is chargeable. Had dinner at the restaurant very average food would give 2.5 /5 for the food.

Stayed for two days. Location is perfect. Room ambiance is good. But when we entered the rooms both of us started sneezing. Seems either AC dust or dust inside, may be from furnishings. For this rate they they can provide complimentary breakfast, which is providing in their sister concern, just opposite.

Not near to church. a little far from the basillica ,5-10 min walk .Room is nice but bathroom could be some what better. Shower don’t work bucket and mug are old. Need to improve on the electric appliances tv & Fan doesn't work. In my research the best hotel in the place. Linen could be new .

Good rooms and Staff only let down was lack of hot water and intercom was not working Room dining was good but u have to settle bills on the spot since the restaurant is detached from the hotel but to sum it up excellent location to the Church definitely worth visiting again
