I booked tripple bed room @ ***/per night but this hotel not value for money. I stayed over there for four nights & the situation was pathetic. Most of the time hotel had not electricity and they turned on generator but fan & charger point did not work in that connection. The room was very small and room had not any window. I stayed over there four night with my parents and you can imagine without any sunlight how I spent those four days. There are no option to dry our clothes which got wet in ...more

I have booked a room for three adults ..... approx. But when we reached there the room was so small to accommodate 3 persons and enquired about room charge and found it about hardly ......... However on complaining they changed room next day which was also not good and provide complementary breakfast.....

If I say that it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed, i wont be wrong. Although, on my request I got the road facing room but still since window was opening in the verandah, it cannot be left open for privacy reasons. Although I tried to keep it open as it was getting very suffocating as there are no AC in SHillong. Since the window didn't have a jali, insects started pouring in . After spending fantastic time killing the insects I had to close the window. The fan above the bed was too small. ...more

This hotel is not for family.You will get smell of cigarettes,liquor everywhere. Musty smell in room.Breakfast was ok, location was good. But I'll not recommend this for family having ladies.

there should be a provision for negative rating.The booking had no details of kids. I had to pay an extra amount of Rs. 1300/- at the reception for my kids.Totally worthless experience. Total waste of time. Very bad experience with customer executives. No Air conditioner Very cheap quality of electric fittings.Very old building, no lift Toilet is not well equipped. Waste of water for getting hot water. blanket cover can be seen in the picture.

होटल में मैं 8 रात रूकी, होटल वाले ने न पीने को पानी दिया और नहाने का साबुन तब दिया जब मैनें मांगा। होटल से घूमने जाने पर होटल के कर्मचारी दूसरी चाबी से रूम का लाॅक खोल लेते थे। ऐसे में कोई भी सामान गायब हो सकता था।

Meghalaya is always the best place to chill out with friends and when it comes to accomodation ,you would always want a place that feels like home and cares like your family . Wholeheartedly thankful to the team of Hotel Monsoon for being so kind and generous . 1. The rooms were clean , spacious and we had balcony too. 2. Food is extremely affordable and light on pocket without compromising the taste , quantity . 3. The manager is so kind he would personally supervise during breakfast our needs , would serve every guest with his warm gesture. 4. Front desk team is excellent they extended our check out time because we were in need of room to freshen up for our journey. 5. The in house staff are Assamese and extremely helpful. Would surely recommend Hotel Monsoon and would love to visit them again sooner 😇

we stay in Monsoon for 2 days. 1. Hotel management & staff behavior is so polite & gentle. 2. Food was really good ( Specially Chicken 65 & Chicken biryani) & pocket friendly. 3. They have complimentary buffet breakfast arrangement & its gives you 100% satisfaction. 4. Location is exactly in Police bazar & its help us explore the market by foot & taxi stand is nearby.5. Hotel room & bathroom were clean & sanitzed. Housekeeping dept was wonderful. 6. we feel rooms ( Room no 200 ) are bit small. But its depends on person to person. In one line If next time i visit shilong then definitely i will book " Hotel Monsoon ".

basic but clean rooms and clean toilets which is more important. - right in city centre, i.e. Police Bazar. - Taxis, shared sumos all available around. - loads of restaurants and shops around - room service is quick - hot water comes all the time - good value for money Cons: - No power back up.

Hotel was on the main GS road, near police bazar circle. The room was near and clean, the food was good and service was on time. The room is comfortable for 2 people's only. There are no AC room in the hotel. Room Charges are high as per size and ambience.

Hotel monsoon is nearest point at center point at police chowk shilong, it's clean and higenic alongwith co-operative staff, minerals water available only which is chargeable. Only One water bottle was Free on same day for 2 guest.prise of hotel reasonable.

Compact rooms, yet clean and has basic amenities. Location is superb, right in front of Police Bazar. Low cost large quantity, hygienic food prepared just like home. must stay!!! Home food and good service
