Mount View Cottages

The location is great, rooms are great, staff response is great. Although somethings that put me off were the inadequate management (we had to ask them multiple times to come and correct the tv in the room, it wasn't working, they did come and rectify it but the connection went off and they never rectified it later), the wifi was almost nil..I had to use my mobile network through my entire stay for my laptop as well as for our phones. Room no 5, exhaust fan wasnt working, room no 4 the light wasnt working. They werent replenshing the room with tea, coffee or dairy. There wasnt any dental kit or shampoo or anything. We had to go and ask for everything which seemed a little weird considering they dont have a direct line to reception and we needed to make calls from our mobile or go to the reception directly. Hence the dissappointment with the way things were managed. That said the staffs were nice and kind. Another point to be considered is the lack of good restaurants in the vicinity. Nevertheless it was a very calm, serene and peaceful place to hangout.

New Property. neatly maintained. check in was easy. first room has alot of ants which bites. it was bitter experience. upon complaining, given another room. when we settled down there, reception people came and asked to shift to another room telling room boy mistakenly allocated wrong room. apart from this room change multiple times, we r good. they should check the room properly before allocation and should allocate the proper one. since it was a holiday, bachelor's gang of 20+ were there. they celebrated well in the swimming pool starting 9pm to 2am in the morning. then came again to pool by 10.30am till we checkout.so with family, we didn't get a chance to see the pool even. same experience for a girls gang who stayed along with us. food we can order and they will deliver. nice ambience. good property.

Peaceful and refreshing stay with beautiful views and nature all around. Pros: 1. Location is scenic and peaceful, surrounded by greenery. 2. Comfortable and clean rooms. 3. Convenient car parking near the rooms. 4. Well-maintained swimming pool. 5. Tasty breakfast Cons: 1. Location is remote. a small in-house canteen would help. 2. Wi-Fi signal was weak in our room. Ask for better coverage if needed. 3. No intercom, but staff contact number is available and responsive. Great place for couples or families looking to relax close to nature. privacy is good

Rooms are very neat.. They're setting up a new property so the ambience is not so great, however you shall have a pleasant stay at this place. There is no in-house kitchen available as of now and food will be brought from an outside nearby place called Ethnic food court. Their food is made keeping it more of healthier than tastier which was fine for me n my family. Overall it was a nice experience from a newly setting up property..
