Hotel Park Tree

We recently stayed at Hotel Park Tree in Kolhapur, and I was quite disappointed with my experience, particularly due to the service at reception. When we arrived around 3pm (which was informed to them in and the readiness of our room was assured by front desk on call), there was no one at the front desk "lunch break at 3.30 !", which left me relying on a security guard to hand me my room key without any proper check-in process. This made me feel uneasy, as it seemed like the room assignment might have been a mistake, potentially setting me up for unexpected charges later.After about five hours, I received a call from the reception. The reception person's tone was alarming, arrogant and quite rude. He demanded that I switch rooms and questioned how I had checked in without the proper sign-in procedure and if this is our first time checking in hotel ! Like seriously, is that the way a supposedly 3 star hotel talks to their guest? A decent 2star hotel staff would behave much better. His arrogant manner and insistence that I pay extra for the room online for a room. I received from the security guard felt more like an attempt to squeeze extra money out of me more than genuine concern for hotel policy. (We were not informed the category of room assigned before check in. The guard just handed over the key of room number written against my name in their notepad). Not sure if he was trying to cover up his blunder or was it a strategy to squeeze more money as a guest would not want to move once he is settled in the room. During the argument, he also mentioned that the room category i had booked was ready in the morning, then what would be the reason for giving me keys of a higher room category (That's why the suspicion). The lack of organization and communication from the reception really put a damper on my stay. On a positive note, the restaurant and room service staff were friendly and attentive, which was a relief. However, the reception's dismissive attitude and lack of professionalism left a disappointing experience. I expected much better from a hotel of this stature (claiming 3 star), and I sincerely hope they can improve their customer service and check-in processes in the future. We would not recommend this hotel till the time there is improvement in the behaviour of the front desk which is the face of any hotel.

I wanted to give a 4 star but i had a bad experience. they confirmed I had free breakfast but when we completed our breakfast they said its not free. We were under the impression they had some promotion where they decided to offer free breakfast. We wouldn't be eating here if they had said this earlier. rooms are good compared to other hotels at the same price in Kolhapur. Comfortable. Just be careful of the management as they seem to be in 2 minds and unsure of things.

Wonderful and Awesome experience in this hotel, i liked each and everything like, parking facility, cleanliness, politeness of staff and response of staff and the food quality and amount of food is very superb, most important thing Rooms are nice and superb clean and clean fresh Environment...ni disturbance from anywhere.. ThanQ very much guys...🌟🌟🌟🎊🎉🎉

Comfortable stay with for stop over on Mumbai Bangalore highway near Kolhapur. It is basic hotel, rooms and hotel premises is kept very clean. Food is good. Cons: There is no lift and all rooms are on first floor. If you are travelling with elderly person please be careful. View is not good, Hotel is situated behind a petrol pump!
