Petals Luxury Homestay

sharing my wonderful experience :) 1. location and surroundings - we recently stayed at petals and the experience was absolutely amazing. the property is nestled among serene valleys and lush tea gardens, far removed from the chaos of the city. it’s about 15 or 16 km from the main coonoor town, so having your own vehicle is recommended as public transport is limited. we had taken a self/drive car from coimbatore airport (we flew in from hyderabad) and the drive itself was stunning. highly recommended for anyone traveling to this side. 2. accommodation and facilities - the accommodation exceeded all expectations. we stayed in a beautiful room with a private balcony, offering spectacular views. (tip: if you want a balcony room which comes with a bunk bed, request it specifically while booking, it wasn’t clearly mentioned on the site. we had originally booked a sit-out room but the staff happily upgraded us on request.) there is a dedicated parking space although the final stretch to the villa is a bit uphill, nothing difficult, just requires a little caution. once inside, you’re welcomed by a breathtaking view that’s absolutely worth it. 3. staff and service - the staff were extremely polite, courteous and attentive to every need of ours. a special shout-out to chef mangal, who was there during our stay. he served delicious homely food and took extra care to meet all our food requests. he’s from bengal so if you happen to be a bengali, you have the added advantage ;) 4. privacy and atmosphere - there are 4 villas in total and each villa has four rooms and during our stay, we had the entire place to ourselves as no other families were staying there. it’s ideal for families (with or without kids) and couples alike. we were a couple ourselves and found it perfect for a quiet and memorable getaway. final thoughts - if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle and stay amidst nature, petals is the perfect choice. i’m definitely planning to come back and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting coonoor. you’ll not be disappointed! sharing some photos from our memorable stay :)

They gave a villa on sharing basis , in the open kitchen /common area we kept our eatables and in the midnight a group of boys ate all our stuff, drank the milk which was kept inside the fridge for our child and created hyteria and lot of noise in the middle of night disturbing everyone , on complaining the manager said he was not responsible. Not maintained well, charging an exorbitant price for nothing

Well maintained place at a beautiful and unexplored location. Friendly staffs and good quality food makes it a good deal.

Excellent say with a peaceful view and weather. Service is very good. Kids play area is very good for make kids engaging.
