Hotel Raj Palace

The hotel is at a prime location. Ample four-wheeler Parking space (at least 10 cars at a time) The staff is cooperative and polite. The hotel room is good. That 10 LED panel lights POP structure just reminds us of our own home.Cleanliness is optimum. However, a few concerns were observed - My room opened to a small balcony through a glass frame door. No Curtain. Hence the privacy issue. (although, if closely looked, there's nobody from the outside to see, even then having a Curtain leads to better peace of mind) Dustbin missing or wasn't found in an easily accessible area. Another privacy concern is - The staff directly tries to open the room through the door Knob as if they are staying in the room and entering. They must first knock or press the bell and wait for the guest to respond. They can't just press the door Knob to open the gate. We went there in a rush season. The staff wasn't able to cope up with the sudden influx of tourists/guests. However, I want to assure you that they tried their best to perform their duties. The staff is very cooperative & polite but quite untrained to deal with guests; their demands; their needs (no behavioural issues). Though considering the area locality this could be the best service I got hence I'm not disappointed with it. As I mentioned we went there in the rush season and at the onset of winter season, their whole hot water infrastructure was collapsed due to sudden influx of guests and switching on the Geyser at the same time. However staff is cooperative and they themselves arranged hot water full buckets directly to the room. The thing is, some guests (I personally), might feel a little shy & uncomfortable to ask the staff repeatedly for a bucket of water, let's say, in the evening when we arrive for a hot shower and in the morning too.

Hotel is really great. Best price in the city. Great place to stay. It's located on the main road and the area is very peaceful. Hotel is family-friendly. Rooms are fully equipped with everything. Have separate kitchens for Veg and Non-veg. They really care about the feelings of people. And food is amazing. Staff is really helpful and very decent. Hotel also have a bar. Everything is just perfect. Food is also very good however if they can provide more varieties in both veg. and non-veg. Dishes, It would be great. 1 star taken away just due to limited choice in food items.

The overall experience of the stay at the hotel was very nice. The staff were friendly and prompt to respond to any kind of query and service. The location is quite near (autorickshaw available in front of the hotel) to all the major tourist spot like Gap Sagar and Bharat Mata temple. Food quality was also good.

All was fine here from services to facilities. The washroom had proper toiletries. The cleanliness of the room and the washroom was proper. The hotel has its own food service. The location of the the property was not at all difficult to locate.
