Shanti Hostel was a delightful surprise! The moment I stepped in, I felt a sense of calm and relaxation. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. The dorm room was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. The hostel's location was perfect for exploring Rishikesh, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and yoga studios and the cafe served delicious and affordable food. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Shanti Hostel and would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

The stay was nice, it's a comfortable stay but don't get your hopes high. - Beds were clean and properly managed. - The pool was closed due to construction work - There wasn't any in house food service - The workers were polite and courteous - There's no attached bathroom, it's attached but not through individual dorms so you'd have to adjust accordingly - There are two cute dogs, laila and cookie, you might like them. The second receptionist complimented me on my bike (apache rr310) so she has a good taste.

The services were exceptional - every request was met with a smile and efficiency. Cleanliness was impeccable; our room was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. And the ambiance? Absolutely beautiful! The hotel's decor was stylish and sophisticated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Our time here was nothing short of wonderful, and we left feeling refreshed and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

This hostel should be AVOIDED!It was my worst experience in India ever.Extremely dirty. I skipped taking a shower, because there is fungus all over. You will surely get a fungus infection when you take a shower.Staff is super rude. Loud music until midnight. Afternoon nap is simply impossible, due to heavy noise (even with earplugs).There are many cheap hostels, so book another hostel, not this one.
