Had a horrible experience in this hotel.There was no person in-charge. Three people claimed to be the manager.The pictures of the hotel rooms are misleading. There's no housekeeping. The bathroom had cigarette buds. The walls are full of mould and tea stains. The cupboards were dirty. When i asked for tea in room they asked me to go out and take it instead. I ordered tea at the shack on near the entrance. Neeraj after serving me tea sat on the chair beside me and put his leg on the table.Nikhil the first person to claim to be the manager hardly responds to queries Upon exploring the property i was aghast to see that not inly my room but the whole hotel had serious issues. The terrace is not functional. And the dorm rooms look like a general compartment of train. Even after raising a complaint about dirty room, the three people who claimed to be the manager plainly refused to resolve the issue and instead started raising their voices. They made me wait downstairs for two hours on the pretext that their brother was in the room where i would be shifted. Then after two hours i was told my room will be changed in the evening as their brother still sleeping in my allotted room. I was told to go to a cafe nearby and return late in evening. When i returned to the hotel in the evening the scene was different altogether.Their voices grew louder and a trio of three makeshift managers started intimidating. Out of nowhere some random guy demanded extra money to change the room hinting that i should rather not create a fuss and stay at the same dirty room. The alarming thing was that he was taking orders from a fourth person. The hotel lacks serious professionalism and basic decency. When i handed them the hotel keys at night they kept laughing and making jokes with each other. Hotel shivanjal is located in a secluded place Please stay away from this.

nothing was upto the mark very very small rooms and bed was too small, whole night multiple sounds of fan like hammer and other persons shouting just below the room at 2 am we even couldn't take sleep for 1 hour. no towel no phone no tv nothing was in the room no food no tea nothing these guys can't run the hotel anymore, even when I reached hotel the attendant was sleeping no reception was there further very remote area to reach better to stay other places in tapovan worst experience this time I stayed there 2 years before at that time it was ok ok types but this time worst experience

the hotel is in outskirt of rishikesh,and is on high top incline of atleast 1km trek ,the dorm is ok but u should have a vehicle to reach there ,otherwise it is very difficult to reach to there by foot..so book accordingly.

If you have a healthy budget this a something like a heaven with a beautiful river branch flowing right beside the stay where you can just sit and vibe ☺️. I loved it, the staffs are supportive and responsible.
