Hopeless Service. I had not seen such 3rd class hotel for huge amount in my life. We reached Mantralayam at 5.00 am in the morning. We asked auto for reaching this hotel. Nobody knew about this lodge in Mantralayam. I called to the lodge's number many times, but no one answered. Finally one person attended the call and told the auto driver about location of hotel. Location of this lodge is worst and the road is very congested and not clean. After reaching the hotel, there was nobody in the reception to allot the room even though they knew that we would be there by 5am. After making many calls one person came and we got one room. But after opening the room it was noticed that, room was not clean. Just some harpic like solution was poured into the toilet and bad smell was coming and we informed the same to that person. He allotted another room after murmuring something and informed us to checkout at 5 pm in a harsh voice (i.e. while check-in only he is expecting us to checkout). Response from the staff is very disturbing and very rude. It's like an ordinary lodge. The hotel was not upto the standard of that price. For this amount I used to go to resorts with hygiene rooms. Towels looked like it was not washed properly and there was a big dirt mark on towel. 24 hours check in is not there.

Positive : 1) Near to Matt( walkable ) 2) Property is managed by owner , so hospitality is superb 3) You can get auto for local tour , just outside the hotel 4)New property and it’s maintained very well. 5) check in and check out at 6 PM to 5 PM, this is very much convenient. Negative: 1) Whenever you go out of the room , owner switch of the A/C power connections from outside . So that he will make him small saving in electricity bill . So when you are back, room temperature will be very hot and it will take time to get cool again . So need to inform in advance this point to Mr.Owner , then he don’t repeat such mistake again .

The room was ok ok cleaned. no other Amenities given including soap or just towel or paste and minimal drinking waterFully dusted as construction was going on inside the buildingreally not worth 4+k even for a double bedroomI really don't recommend staying here. Without asking they have sent can to pick us up from railway station. It was paid pickup and for 15km, driver charged us 500we haven't asked for any pickup. when we said same thing to them, driver argued. so we had to use that Forcelbily

It was the worst experience. The room was stuffy & smelt like a urinal. We finally did not stay there & could not claim a refund. Please refund the payment made. I am afraid we will not connect forward. I could not get rate this lower as there was no option lower than 1.
