Sanman Lodge

I have faced several issues during this stay. 1. We checked in at 6.30am 28th and checked out at 10am 29th April. For additional hours hotel charged 1000 inr, I paid cash but no receipt was offered by hotel and receptionist took signature on blank voucher. - - - > this is unfair. 2. We got into room 16, we stayed in this room until night 12 am. We requested new room as beds in this room was not good we got skin allergy and severe eatching. Then hotel personnel gave us room 22. 3. In this process my wife lost her gold earrings worth of 20000 inr. We checked with hotel staff and searched both rooms we didn't find them. this is old hotel in Shimoga, value to cost donot expect more. most of the rooms have Indian style toilets so better to ask if in particular need. rooms are ok. situated near to station in the streets of market area. Autos are available to reach hotel from bus station. near by mall is also available.

We reached Hotel at 7.30 pm and asked for checkin that time Receptionist informed us no rooms booked for us... *after waiting for one hour they alotted us lower category single occupancy with extra bed instead of higher category Double Occupancy. Worst experience.. no value for money.

The hotel has its own restaurant, which is a small one but the food is fine . About amenities, tv is there , no Wi Fi .In bathroom, hot water is not available. Living Room is ok.
