HOTEL SATYAM INN(Ginger Restaurant)

I booked a deluxe room through Goibibo at the hotel reception. The receptionist informed me that no deluxe rooms were available and suggested I book a super deluxe room instead. However, I insisted on a deluxe room and proceeded to book it via Goibibo. After booking, he refused to provide early check-in, even though Goibibo’s terms confirmed early check-in (up to 2 hours before the requested time). When I mentioned canceling the booking (since it was free of charge), the hotel staff suddenly showed me two available rooms—both in poor condition, clearly indicating their lack of concern. After I checked out, they even called me regarding a towel that was never provided in the first place. --- Positives - Food is good and staff talks nicely.

I wanted a non-smoking room, but the room we got had cigarette smoke smell. We were too tired as it was past 1am so we did not bother to ask for a different room. Location is close to Chennai airport but in a somewhat desolate part. Found parking inside the premises, but cramped parking. Bed was ok. Poor quality towel and bath soap, AC was hard to control. For Rs,4,262, this was not at all a value for money. Morning breakfast was ok. Staff was ok. Overall, nothing remarkable and def not value for money. Owner needs to charge less or upgrade the rooms and facilities. I would pay Rs.1,500 max.

nice place to stay but didn't expect any commitment of timely food delivery in room in morning.I booked a room with complimentary breakfast hotel committed to provide it at 7;:30 am but after so many reminders they could not deliver it till 8:30 am and I had to checkout without having breakfast and morning tea.Worst experience.

I checked in late at night and asked for a bottle of water and that bottle of water did not come in my room until next morning also. Then I had to buy the bottle of water for myself.
