Shri Umamaheshwari Cottage

Nice place to stay. Rooms are good and bathroom are quite spacious. I have booked for 3 adults for 2 nights which is awesome deal. Owner is very friendly and and don't have any restrictions in room. 2 beds provided for 3 guests which was very nice. cleaning is good enough as per the price. There is also sitting space outside of the room where you can get 2 chairs and a tea table where you can drink and smoke. you can also smoke inside the room as there is no restrictions. It is located next to Kudle beach which was fantastic. you can enjoy your whole day in front of beach. also there are many restaurants available for breakfast and food. restaurants are located just next to the hotel. Hotel don't have own restaurant but you won't feel need of that as there are many options available next to your hotel. You can get beer for 210₹ approx for kingfisher premium. food is not that expensive though. For 2 days and 2 nights i have spent approx 12000 for 3 person including food, traveling and train fare from Bangalore. it was an awesome stay with Umamaheshwari cottage. i would love to stay agin in my next trip. it is safe for friend, staying with gf, or family...if you are going to enjoy your stay next to the beach then this is one of the best hotel who provide fantastic deal for your stay.

Good and neat room. Food not provided, but only staying. Very close to the beach and the sea. Nice chairs outside room to rest. Only drawback was that there is a cow shelter at the entrance of the passage to the cottage. We had cows blocking our way in at one night and had to wait for sometime out there and get help from nearby restaurant to chase the cows away. No info provided to us regarding the Wifi. Filtered water was available all the time at the reception, which we found to be very useful and beneficial. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and perfect to rest. Overall, a great place to stay with family and we liked staying there. Safe and decent place. Clean room and bathroom. Towels and soap provided. Not much noise or disturbance around. Very comfortable mattress and pillows that helped in relaxing well after roaming around in the day.

Actually booked non-ac , but after seeing room and weather (around 34 degree), asked AC room , it was good , hot water , good working AC. staff are friendly and helped us for luggage transportation almost 300 meters high to parking area.one bad thing was dogs and cows Good thing , beach is 30 feet away from room, can watch pleasent sunset.. Boat riding was good experience to cover OM, Paradise and Halfmoon beaches ... Suggestion: before going with family enquirie, check transportation and food facilities.

overall a nice stay. location is on the beach and comparatively near to the kudle beach auto stand. nice and clean room, bathroom is also clean and nice, no issue. The AC was working fine. Check in and check out was hassle free. I would recommend the stay. only point is AC room is a bit pricey as this is a basic hotel location on the beach and clean room.
