A very honest review based on personal experience 2 days back (1st September 2021). I wouldn't recommend a stay at this hotel. Even if you go there alone, you can be rest assured that you are never alone even for a minute. Probably, the hotel was overbooked as it was a Muhurtham day but that is no excuse for not being able to service the customers or give a safe place to stay. Wasn't asking much but just a clean and a safe room. Room was full of lizards and not to mention couple of mud worms and a frog, to keep you active through the night... especially when I had a 1 year baby there really scared. Horrible maintenance. The room wasn't even cleaned properly. The leftovers from the previous Customer was still there and they offered to clean it when I requested but never came back to clean it. I wouldn't recommend a stay in this place especially if you have kid(s). And, we were denied a replacement room when requested as well.. again, probably because they were overbooked.

Lets me start with positive. Food was good. Morning coffee in front of the rooms is a thoughtful idea. Ample car park and silent ambience. Rooms were decent from the looks of it. Negatives are mostly personal to our experience but could have been avoided but them. Water stops after 10 am and the guests were not informed. Agter we came back from temple there were no water in room. The geyser did not work in our room. We wanted to ask the reception but there is no number to call the reception (which later we came to know is 7). And we were travelling with a kid and elderly in the month of december so it was damn cold and had to shower in cold water

A hotel that charges premium- a night for a queensize bed in a small cobwebbed room should at least ensure decent unsmelly bathroom; one can tolerate all other things in this pathetic excuse for a hotel but not the zero pressure tabs, worst is 100ml water flushing toilet; Towels are another story one single last century made towels that rashes skin when used. What to say! In nutshell this is one of my worst experiences of staying in small town India that too at premium rates.

Very close to temple and have good food, close to shops and fuel station. Staff were very courteous and supportive. We reached a bit late to lunch(lunch time was over and food was closed) and staff managed to room deliver hot fresh food within 20mins. Similarly, when requested for juice, they arranged within 10mins even though the center was closed.

One of the worst hotel I have ever visited.There was no outside light.. The restroom was like ditch Smelled very bad The wall paint and plastering was all around floor Full of big mosquitos in the room..I got out and asked another room. that was also worst... so I cancelled the stay and went out to find nearby hotel.. pure waste of money...

The hotelier cancelled my booking without my knowledge. When I reached the place, they offered another room. I had booked for cottage, but was given family room. The flush in the toilet was not working, I had to manually push the ball for each usage. TV and AC was not working. Even the room service tried and informed that there is a problem.

Hotel Akshardham vaitheeswaran koil has set up it's own standard and has been maintaining it . Restaurant is very good and the surroundings pleasant with a small swimming pool added to the amenities but could do something more towards bathroom cleanliness and use fabric softener etc to soften the towels

The hotel is reasonably good bur the tariff is on the higher side. There is scope for improvement in maintenance of the room, rest room etc. The hotel may arrange for morning tea/coffee to be served in the room in a flask and give complimentary lunch or dinner in addition to breakfast.

The flush tank was not working The aircon was noisy as a drilling machine We had a roommate lizard The pillows were of rubber foam (terrible) The free breakfast is a mini one of their choice worth about Rs 50 only The food is worse than roadside restaurant I will never go here again.

Not so pleasing, even after booking 2 months in advance the room given to me was not satisfied. AC was not working, no bucket provided in bath. After frequent complaint they come to resolve when I was about to check out. So I can rate this property as average only

Kids friendly. Good location near mudi kanikanikai mandapam. Ample car park. Nice breakfast. The restaurant even prepared veg soup for my kid even though it was not in their menu . Definitely recommend.

Location is good but toilet cleanliness is very ordinary. The linens and towels are very ordinary. Otherwise the place is good and easily reachable. As there are no better hotels, the choice is limited.
