Hotel Thamburu International

My recent hotel stay was exceptionally disappointing. Despite the hefty price tag of nearl for three rooms over three days, the level of service fell far short of expectations. Here are a few incidents:1. Upon arrival at 4 pm, the air conditioning worked until 8:30 pm, but then ceased until 10:30 pm due to a KSEB issue. Despite paying the full amount, I received subpar service until I contacted customer care. While they promptly resolved the issue in most rooms, one room remained without AC, although my mother opted to endure the discomfort for the entire three days.2. One of the rooms emitted a foul odor, which was promptly addressed by the staff who arranged for a replacement room upon complaint.3. The room lock malfunctioned, prompting concerns about privacy. However, when raised with the receptionist, they dismissed the issue, citing surveillance cameras as a substitute for security.4. Upon departure, I was unexpectedly charged 53 rupees for an additional water bottle, an unexpected and unwelcome surprise.

I stayed at Hotel Thamburu International for one night, and my experience was highly disappointing. The hotel is significantly overpriced and fails to provide value for the money spent. For the same price, I could have stayed at a far better hotel in the surrounding area with superior amenities and service. The most frustrating aspect of my stay was with breakfast. Despite my booking clearly including breakfast, the hotel staff provided only a single plate dosa and a cup of coffee. Such a limited offering is entirely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be a four-star establishment.

Hotel and room is nice and comfortable..Only negative point is if you opt for room with breakfast,they don't have buffet for it and when asked for options they don't give much choice.Also,they bring food from outside and most of the items are not available. Suggestion is to not opt for food in the hotel.Better to go to nearby restaurents as many good options are available. Service staff is not at all supportive and if you call them..they will just disconnect the calls in between of discussion.

Everything was fine with regards to comfort, location, cleanliness, etc. However there was an unexpected snag in their solar heating creating an issue with hot water in the morning of our check out day when we had get ready and leave early. There was no alternative arrangement for hot water, and we were left scrambling. Otherwise it was a comfortable experience.
