It started with a lot of confusion as to where we should go for our small vacation and then I contacted one of my friend and he suggested to go to Tirthan Valley and stay at The Forest Edge. He described it as wonderful property and said I should simply go ahead with it and the same I did. I was contacted by Ajay Singh who is the owner of The Forest Edge a day before our stay and he shared all the details as to what all we can explore in Tirthan and nearby. Now the main deal comes since we reached Aut we were in contact with the caretaker Megh. Must tell you he is a very generous man and will look after you like family. He will take care of every small thing, will spend time with you chit chatting letting you know about the local culture, weather and about the life in mountains. When we reached The Forest Edge we were welcomed by a very special guest Jamun a beautiful dog who is a kind of lazy but never misses a chance to grab your attention and keeps on playing with you all the time. He also have a wife and her name is Gulab and they have 5 kids who are yet to be named. From trek to waterfall to morning walks Gulab and Jamun both were there with us playing and companying us. They just become an inseparable part of us. The rooms were elegantly designed with Calvin and Hobbes theme making you feel that you are in a National forest Park area. For a great time you must be having good food and the chef was bang on. I am not a person who writes any sort of reviews for food but he left no stone unturned. From noodles, Chilly Paneer, Himalayan Trout, Chicken Curry to local delicacy Himachali Kadhi, Pizza everything was so good that just can’t stop licking your fingers. Rohit you have to share the recipe for Himachali Kadhi!! Ajay your overall team Megh, Rohit,Veeru and the other I don’t remember there names are exceptional at hospitality.. Also thanks to mam for the gift at the end of our stay. From me and my better half we thank you very much for making our stay a memory for a life time. Will surely miss the two lovelies Gulab & Jamun. Thanks Jai & Gargi

Where shall I start from. Firstly the place is very serene. The rooms are good and the dining area is just great. The sound of flowing river will certainly feel awesome which is just around 10 minutes walking from the place. The food is mind boggling. The chef is a really talented person. Every cuisine that I tried was delicious. Finally the whole staff is such well behaved that you won't be facing any difficulties whatsoever. The caretaker Megh Ji is gem of a person, listening to every problem and providing with solutions as early as possible. To end with, Sheru, Gulab and Jamun, the three dogs will certainly bring a smile on everyone's face. The well behaved and polite staff who treated us with utmost care and were at our service whenever asked for

A beautiful and serene place to spend your quiet time in Himachal. very close to the river where you can take a permit and go for trout fishing. food is a tad bit expensive considering the place but nevertheless amazing food. Lovely spacious rooms and bathrooms. This resort has been very tastefully built. come to see and experience it. will surely come back here. A calm place to spend your vacation days in the mountains. Beautiful surroundings.

Gud place to stay....though river is not directly accessible but overall very clean & peaceful. Nothing Fancy.. Food is Expensive.
