The Fort Pokaran - A Heritage Hotel

It was a bad experience. The property is huge but the rooms are not upto the standard. There was no intercom, the bedsheets were untidy n torn at places. We had booked Deluxe room with breakfast on the basis of the pics provided but we were shown and none of them were even nearby to it. We felt cheated. The caretaker told us if we want have lunch at the hotel restaurant we have to order an hour before and for dinner before 5pm. We were shocked and as there are not too many decent restaurant we had to opt for the hotel restaurant. The menu did not have too many options and the food was ok. We then decided to cancel the breakfast option for which we were charged ... with less/no options and seek refund of the amount for breakfast. Overall the property is good but not maintained . If the owner takes the initiative to take care of the above issues it can turn out to be an awesome place to spend time.No intercom, no arrangements of food/restaurant, dirty and unhygienic bedsheets with not upto the mark food quality.

The Stay in The Fort Pokaran is like to live a king life. Superb ancient infrastructure, Knit and Clean rooms and courteous staff. The only drawback is the room service number not work but once we order personally it reached within few mins but the Hotel staff need to improve the room service part through phone call.... the room rates was mentioned with breakfast whereas in the receipt I received the breakfast aspect was available for the booking made on or before 31.07.2018 which appears to be mistake on the part of concern Hotel staff as they didn't updated the recent things but with the positive response from Goibibo team that issue was also sought out. overall good experience at the Fort Pokaran. If you travel with family and friends than this is the perfect place to spend quality time.

Worst experience ever! We had two rooms booked and I called around 1 pm that we'll reach around 5 the lady said all good and not a problem. When we reached around 5 we were informed by the desk guy that they had only 1 room and they can adjust 1 room in some other hotel. I told him i called at 1 to confirm again to that the gentleman said. ohh that must be the call centre. they sit in gujrat or somewhere and don't know anything. My son (9 yrs old) was sick so I didn't want discuss or fight so we shifted to other hotel. which was not more than 2 star hotel. this kind of ruined our whole Jodhpur, Jaisalmer trip experience. worst experience ever!

This app tell u that this place is 4 star... but actually a basic **** room is better then the hotel. there is no management, no service quality, Staff does not know what to do. They give you jio fi which does not work, tv is not recharged and u have to ask them for everything personally.
