The Himaal, Bir | Luxury Boutique Homestay

I was on a solo trip to Bir. Booked Himaal for 2 days. It is a magical place surrounded by green fields and beautiful mountains all around. Although it was a new property but after talking to Bhuvan(owner) and his wife, I was confident that I will be in safe and professional hands and I was correct about it. This place is a perfect fusion of homestay and luxurious 5 star hotel. They provide all the amenities you get in a 5 star hotel like dental & shaving kit, loofah, shower cap, sanitary pads and even small things like hot water bottle, torch, candles, which I have not seen in many hotels and homestays. They even got smart android TV(with casting option), which I have not seen even in major 5 star hotels. Bathrooms were super clean and I loved that everything they do is so sustainable there.. They use eco friendly material all over the hotel which is very very thoughtful. When you are staying in himaal please visit there terrace during the sunset and at night(you may get to see the milky way ). Very soulful experience. They have done a great job with the interiors and every room depicts a different story. If you got to see all 9 rooms, you will definetely want to stay in each and every room. My words are not doing justice to the place and hospitality offered. Service is commendable. Each and every staff member will always have smile on his face, which make things more comforting. Food here is delicious. This is definetely an old 80s kishore kumar song(soulful and meaningful 😍) Kudos to the Himaal team for their effort. And big shout out to Bhuvan, who made me literally feel at home. Will surely recommend to book this place to everyone and specially to solo travelling females. You will surely feel very safe here. Once you are in Himaal, you dont need to worry about your safety. All the dog lovers out there : They also have got a lovely Shih tzu.

Words may not be enough to review the beauty of The Himaal. Most beautiful place that I have ever been too. I was amazed how beautifully everything was decorated. Plants and flowers everywhere. There isn't any single wall you can leave without clicking a picture. Exceptionally clean property, soft spoken and humble staff, and food was amazing. On the top of all this a Very warm and welcoming owner. Property has best views, Just sit in balcony or inside your room with a cup of hot coffee and enjoy the sunset with dozens of parachute's flying or preparing to land as landing site is clearly visible from here. Other than this they have a rooftop cafe. Location of this is like epicentre of Bir. Just take a 100 mtr walk to the lane with the best cafe's around. Though there are too many options to eat outside but still I loved whatever i ate at Himaal. I would love to visit again and would love to recommend everyone. Thankyou The Himaal for Hosting us.

Simply beautiful This was my first Home Stay ,but believe me I never thought that homestay can also be so amazing.Amazing family and also credit goes to supporting staff who were equally caring and full of warmth and support.I booked this homestay while traveling towards dharamshala from Manali because of pics of house and reviews . Infact Bir where this house is located itself is such an infatuated place where you can relax and spend some quality time.Paragliding landing spot & training spot is just outside this house.Rooms were so clean and beautifully decorated and every aspect of guest were taken care of.Morning breakfast was simply superb with great taste and quality maintained.Just stay over here .

Wow! The Himaal is incredible! This place is alive with its very thoughtful interiors assembled with mixed cultural vibes. Superb location, serene views, delucious food, friendly staff, indoor games, leisure reading options, and lots more that everyone looks forward to and also for everyone to explore differently. Mr. Bhavan (host) along his family n staff have been very warm, cooperative and welcoming. He's a good guide and manages all bookings for paragliding and other activities at Bir. When in BIR, stay at Himaal is all together a different experience. Must try it once.
