Home away from home in true sense!!! You get all the comfort of your home yet being away from it!!! Super beautiful and spacious property, away from any knoise or pollution, close to nature and very much at a reasonable distance from all the places you would like to go to!!! You get an entire house at a price of just a room, Totally a surprise pkg!!! All essential utilities provided along with basic room as well..You are given fridge, microwave and all that you need for your late night celebration... Incomparable view from terrace!!! You don't really need to go anywhere to enjoy nature, You get everything right at your calm stay!!! Very affectionate staff.. Amazing food, amazing hospitality!!! We got a complete Pkg we would like to come visit again n again!!! Beyond expectations!!! Cheers!!!

The hotel is a 5-10 min walk away from market, but that is good because you are away from the crowd and can enjoy the peaceful surrounding. There is a great view of the mountain from the hotel. The hotel food was also quite good, its like home cooked food at reasonable rates. Particularly impressed by the hotel management which incorporated our request (which were out of their policy). A note of caution this is not a regular hotel, but more of homestay kind of experience, so you may not find a person on the reception always. Best is to take their phone number and call for any need. (Also horizon villa south and north are the same property, north is the upper floor)

Overall Great Stay ! Clean and well maintained rooms with all necessary facilities. Parking facility is also available which is a minus for many other hotels. This was my repeat visit and they have been consistent. The hotel gives you and independent feel and rests somewhere between a home stay and a 4 star full amenity hotel. Best for people looking for peace away from the hush of the main city but also not far away from the city. Just behind the famous Buddha temple. Truly Recommend it !

It's not a hotel, it is a home stay close to the temple however it's not walkable as the property is down the hill. No food or toilet for the drivers. Very narrow roads and the entry to the parking is horrible. Parking and exist takes a lot of time. The food is home cocked by the caretakers and is heavily priced. This property is not worth**. The rooms are small with lot of furniture which is off no good. No hot pot for tea / coffee. The dining area is big and beautiful.

Good place to stay with beautiful view. limited rooms and thus makes it more intimate and less commercial in that sense. The manager, Mr Vikas, cook and another helper, Monu were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us feel at ease at the villa. The best part about staying here apart from the view is the location of the villa itself. It is away from the crowd and surrounded by no other commercial place.

The best thing I observed is the food quality , food is fresh and same like home made food.means you could enjoy long stay without worrying about out side food. 2ND thing is location, hotel location is around 500 mtrs from temple, but it's manageable if compare with location. So I liked this hotel and would like to prefer my friends

Lovely place with a great view. Special mention must be made of the two care takers Anuj and Deepak. They were very helpful and Deepak is an amazing cook too. The manager Mr. Thakur was very pleasant and helpful too. Overall a great place to unwind in Mcleodganj.....

My expensive shawl ,a scarf and original mobile charger was stolen. Hotel.staff blamed me for carelessness and clearly refused taking any action including checking with staff members. despite its written No alcohol. .their own staff drinks in the room.
