A VERY BAD APPROACH TO THE RESORT AND EQUALLY BAD HOUSE KEEPING IN CLEANLINESS
The approach to resort is very very difficult and risky with no built roads. Travellers travel at their own risk. The cleanliness takes a back seat as there are bed bugs and the linen has stains all over.

Dear Sir, Greetings Reference to the trail mail regarding the complaints made by the guest named Mr. Amitabh Bathla booked through Goibibo with C/In & C/Out dated 1st April, 2016 & 3rd April, 2016 respectively, the following are the responses of the undersigned : 1. At the time of C/In to the resort, the guest had informed that he had booked 2 rooms on EP basis and requested for complimentary Breakfast, which was not allowed by the undersigned since the rooms was booked on EP basis post confirmation of the same with you over telephonic conversation. The guests cordially discussed about the approach route / road to the resort both during C/In and the day after, which was also explained to them. 2. It was observed by the F&B (Service) Department that all the adult members of the 2 rooms booked and staying in the resort consuming food from the same dinner plate on sharing basis, so that the plate count can be reduced and not billed. Apart from the plate count, as per the usual process, the head count was also taken into consideration and the consumption of the food was billed. On requesting the guests to sign the bills as raised, the guest initially refused to sign the bills which was not acceptable to the hotel / resort authorities. The resort authorities insisted on signing the bills and with no other option left the guest signed the bills as raised. 3. As per the complaints forwarded in the form of pictures, kindly note : a. Bed Bugs crawling on the bed – the complaints was raised post C/Out and informed to the undersigned only on the date of C/Out, i.e. after spending 48 hours in the resort. The complaint was made from the guests of 1 rooms amongst the 2 rooms. Had bed bugs been prevalent in any of the rooms, the same should had been notified to the undersigned on the 2nd day of stay i.e. 2nd April, 2016 when the undersigned had met the guests in front of the Reception and had spoken to them for over ½ hour. It was learnt that the guests had consumed food in the balcony of the rooms with the door being kept open and lights switched on inside the room, thus inviting the insects to come into the room, which shall be a very common phenomenon for a resort located inside the deep jungle. b. Dirty Water flowing out of the taps & shower in the room – it was observed that ½ a bucket of water had been stored in the shower cubical area which had muddy colour. In this connection, we would like to inform you that there were 16 rooms which had checked-out on the same date and none of the rooms had complained about dirty water flowing out of the taps. Outflow of dirty water in a single room only on the 3rd day of the period stayed by the guests in the resort is next to impossible, since the water flow system is parallel in nature and interconnected. Hence dirty water shall be flowing out in only 1 room cannot be accepted that too when water plant has a filtration system in place . Post c/out of the guest, the water flowing out of the taps had been checked by the undersigned for the entire series and it was found that the water was clean. For your information, water stored in the bucket was distilled and it was observed that granules of mud ware prevalent in the bucket, which had been picked up from the planters and mixed in the bucket with malafied intention of defaming the resort. c. Dirty Bed Linen (Duvet) (as visible in the picture) – i. It is visible that the duvet had food stains on it. As per the standard followed by the resort all duvets are covered with a duvet cover. In case of the cover being removed to check the duvet, the possibility of stained marks can be visible, which is not acceptable as per the standards maintained at the resort. We are getting it verified by our quality control team . It seems the guest has deliberately created this fuss so that he ask for compensation as he was charged without offering any freebees due to his attitude from the time of check in. The place is more enjoyable and relaxing than the corbett park safari itself. Minimum 2 days stay to explore the resort and it's facilities. No phone network will work there except vodafone, so carry one.
